I have been going to Ocean Grove for vacation for several years now. I make it a point to visit the Comfort Zone on every trip. I love there selection of children's books and toys. I recently asked about a book I was looking for about the shark attacks on the Jersey Shore back in 1916. The owner of the store knew exactly what I was looking for but it was out of stock. He got on the phone and ordered for me. When it came in he called and sent to me. There items and products for every thing imaginable. I will be stopping by next year for sure. Marty H. Loved this amazing store. There is a huge selection of basically anything you could possibly be looking for. The ladies that work there were so helpful. This was my first time in Ocean Grove and I needed multiple gifts for several family members. They packaged everything up so nicely. I highly recommend this shop.

Very disappointed today in this shop. I normally love this store but today the owner was there degrading his staff in front of customers. Apparently he asked them to set up a Christmas display and they did so, beautifully, but in the front window , which he clearly was annoyed about. He went on and on complaining to his staff member about this, quite loudly, and honestly sounded like a jerk. At one point, he said “ Just do what I tell you to do.”?. His staff went in to say some Christmas stuff had already been sold, but he wasn’t having any of it. Moaning & complaining on and on how the display was never supposed to be near the window, he doesn’t want to look like he’s pushing Christmas in July, blah blah blah. There’s a way to speak to people and there’s a way to figure out how to be a lil nicer bc your staff is important dude, so hopefully you just had a bad few minutes today, but truthfully, I’d never go back in there on the chance I’d have to listen to that again. Very unfortunate. Good luck ti the 2 nice ladies behind the counter bc you were so kind & the only ones affiliated with the store that displayed so.

Theres no place like this. It has the best bath and self care products of anyplace I've shopped. The owner and his staff take pride in their store, one woman in particular knows everything, inside and out, im not good with names, but she usually wears red glasses and is lovely. The owner is wonderful, he is committed to carrying unique beautiful gifts and products. No body is over bearing. But ready to help if you need.

Love this little shop! They have books and toys as well as soaps and dish towels, a great place to browse and find something interesting. The toys are well selected good quality, and often educational without my daughter realizing that!

This store is adorable!! I wanted to buy everything and never wanted to leave. Wide selection of books, soaps, home goods, lounge clothes, and of course, little knick knacks. Everything was reasonably priced, too, which was surprising to me, I'm used to "tourist" shops being a bit overpriced. One of my favorite parts of Ocean Grove for sure.

First off I just want to point out that I am an actual customer, as you can see from my receipt. I didn't just look in the storefront window & make a stupid judgment based on the books that were on display. One reviewer claimed they are purveyors of "anti-white, communist propaganda" based on some popular bestselling books he saw in the front window. But all I saw when I went there were Hoda Kotb books. And I don't believe Hoda to be anti-white or communist. If he bothered to go inside he would have noticed that books make only a fraction of Comfort Zone's merchandise. Most of the store is stocked with lovely-smelling soaps, candles, beauty products, etc., not to mention jewelry & souvenir shirts. Comfort Zone is a cute, quaint, local shop that sells a wide variety of quality goods. The staff is super friendly. I e-mailed them to see if they had a specific apron in stock, which they did. I got a prompt callback saying they were holding it for me at the store. I'll definitely be back. I encourage you to visit. And if you don't like the books on display in their window (whether it be Hoda Kotb, Bob Woodward or Robin DiAngelo, just keep walking.

It was a rainy afternoon at the Jersey Shore when we visited. What a cool little shoppe.It's one of those places you go into expecting to find certain things, but the more time you are in there, the more other interesting items are there to be found and catch your eye.Also, the owner is a delightful person to chat with.And during this Covid-19 time... As soon as you enter the shoppe, there is hand-sanitizer awaiting you before touching anything in the shoppe.

Their store seemed nice until I looked through their book selection. They only sold anti-white and communist propaganda. If this was a portion of what is sold I would be okay with it. Yet, all they sold is anti white propaganda life white fragility, why I'm no longer talking about race, how to be an anarchist, and on and on. I would rather support amazon than return here.

Was there to purchase a puzzle during covid.... was treated with extreme kindness and professionalism. I abide by the law, but the scent coming from the door was intoxicating. I cannot wait to go back and freely shop. Thank you for everything!!!
