I came in here with my boyfriend yesterday to meet the cats. I entered the store with a smile and asked the employees how their day was going and all I was met with was a glare??? As soon as a mother and her daughter walked in soon after us, “Hi!! How are you guys doing today?”. The energy in this store is absolutely disgusting, and I feel sorry for these cats honestly. Is it because my skin might be darker than yours that you’re going to treat me differently? Overall this was vibe of the people in Ocean City as well throughout the day.

If you are going here to see cats ?⬛ or kittens be ready to have to fill out a 2 pages document and give away all but your social security number, before you even get to see any of them!!!!
Imagine a car dealer ship requesting all your information, where you live, how you live, a home visit, if you ever owned a car before, if you have been rejected …, before even giving you a chance at looking at any of the cars!!!!!
Also, you will be ridiculed if you have not had a cat before.
I know they are trying to protect the animals, but by turning people off before you have even seen any of the animals, the animals will have a lesser chance of getting adopted as the pool will be smaller.
I wished them best of luck for the sake of the animals.

I never fail to find something to love in this thrift store: beautiful seashore candle, cozy slippers, gold rimmed cake plate for some examples. Love it!

Horrible experience trying to adopt a cat here. Not only was my application rejected without checking my references, but the staff were rude and off putting, treating my interest in adopting and meeting a particular cat with suspicion and animosity.

they resell donated items in their store . All volunteer personnel who raise money by selling donated good. They are Cape/Atlantic cats who rescue cats and try to get them adopted. Some very nice nicknacks , picture frames and that type of ilk!!!!
