Bought a 2 pound box and was so disappointed. I bought it as a gift for someone and I don’t believe this person will be able to eat it due to how firm it is. What happened to fresh soft taffy? Yes, I should’ve gone to Shriver’s also.

Last week stopped in and picked out a pound of taffy and it was absolutely awful, rock hard and inedible. Won’t ever get taffy here again.

I was super excited for my annual salt water taffy purchase. I bought a big box of salt water taffy from Fralingers only to be very disappointed due to hard it was. The interior was so rock hard we literally can not eat it. It must be stale. Should have gone to Shriver’s.

Love OC and visit every year. Wanted to bring my family back some fudge from the boardwalk. I purchased fudge and some other treats at this place. I paid $25.00 for the fudge and got home to find the box empty. The lady took my money and put an empty box in my bag. I live too far away to go back and no one answers the phone when I try to call. I just wanted to leave a review for this place and let everyone know that if you want to bring your friends or family back an empty box that says it has fudge in it, this is the place you should go. Fralingers - Invisible fudge. Try some.

Handpicked flavors of salt water taffy we liked, a box of fudge, and 2 dark chocolate molasses pops. Everything was stale! All of the salt water traffies were hard as a rock, except 3 out of 2 lbs.! The fudge was not creamy and also on the hard side. Hardly any nuts in them. The molasses taffy was hard as a rock so thought I'd just eat the chocolate off of it, but that was stale! I didn't wantvto break my teeth so $52 tossed in the trash. I'll never stray from Fudge Kitchen ever again where the fudge is creamy and fresh and loaded with nuts. I will say the lady who rang me up was nice, so there's that. Listen to the review...I wish I had seen them before purchase. Live and kearn.

Another iconic ocean city saltwater taffy place. Not as large or variety as Shrivers but they have one important distinction. They sell smaller sized pieces of taffy which are what we personally prefer. You can get regular sized as well. Due to COVID protocols, other than taffy, all other pay by weight candies were empty. The price for taffy by the pound was a little more than Shrivers, $10.99 versus $10. We bought an assortment from each place to compare later. Also Fralingers not only sells their own brand of taffy but James brand as well. The store was not as crowded and had some nostalgic candies for sale such as clove gum and candy cigarettes. Knocking one star for lack of other types of candy available but still a great experience overall.

Was there this week and purchased 4 1lb boxes for the family back home.Purchased about another pound by hand picking different flavors, went home that night to try some taffy and noticed the wrappers were hard to peel off and very sticky, ( sure sign of old taffy ),Also every piece was hard ( not fresh )Probably from last year due to Covid !

We recently purchased a box Fralinger Salt Water Taffy in the Convention Special Box. It was suppose to contain a variety of taffies, mint sticks and chews, but the owners switched out the items and only placed taffies in the 5 lbs box. They did so without telling the customer. We bought a box only to discover when opening that it only contained taffies. What a rip off! This id not only false advertising, but it is deception. The owner said he would be happy to refund our money but we drove 4 hours just to visit Fralingers. I guess we will not be visiting them again - EVER!

As a very young child, my family would vacation in Atlantic City and Fralingers Salt Water Taffy was always something I begged to have. Our family moved to Florida many years ago and I still remember salt water taffy. My grandparents would bring some with them when they came down to visit.Today, a friend of mine at church brought some a friend of hers brought down on her visit from Philly, and she and I were in heaven. I'm delighted to find that I can order their taffy and other sweets online and have it shipped to me. Now I can enjoy this sweet delight whenever I get the urge. There are other taffy makers around, but none can compare to Fralingers!
