It was just great, nothing bad to say, we had a great time.
Nearby activities: We had a grandchild with us and the rides couldn’t have been closer!
Walkability: Everything is close by!

This is our second time staying at Ebb Tide Suites. The rooms are updated and always clean. The location is great and we love the private balcony overlooking Castaway Cove! We were on the third floor this time and even had a slight view of the ocean. Staff was helpful and friendly. We have been going to OCNJ for 13 years and now that we found Ebb Tide Suites, we will not be staying anywhere else!
Walkability: So close to the boardwalk and Castaway Cove.

Very nice accommodations but the price for 4 nights in late September has jumped from $645 to over 1 thousand dollars in just 2 years and that's with the one free night. We've enjoyed our stays but the price point is now too high to continue going here.

It saddens me to say this about this place, but DO NOT STAY HERE. Below is my original review from four or five years ago. I’m keeping it up to make a point, and it’s that management has really let this place go since opening the Impala Suites across the street. They own all the hotels on this corner, and the Ebb Tide Suites used to be their best and brightest. Unfortunately, they have not updated it in quite some time and the issues are starting to surface. I rented four suites at this place and have done so every year for the last seven years. First, the beds are really old and are starting to sag. It’s like sleeping on a U-shaped mattress with everyone waking up from restless sleep with an achy back. Next, the elevators have any issue with getting stuck and making a huge bang between the second and third floors. It’s jarring enough to buckle your knees and upset our kids as it sounded like it was going to fall. Next is that the parking garage is really tight. It’s great to have a spot, but definitely expect to get your doors scratched by bikes or the other cars and good luck if you have a larger vehicle or truck. Next is every other day your key card to the room randomly stops working. For the four rooms, every single person has had to go to the office to get it reset at least three times, four times for two of the rooms. This is massively inconvenient when it happens and you are coming back from the beach. Next, the price of this place is EXTREMELY high. I understand higher rates given it’s a shore town, but they have made no updates or done anything to the place, increasing the price as the quality goes down. They also now charge an unreasonable fee to use a credit card to pay, so if you’re coming I suggest bringing thousands in cash. Next, we rented this place because it is supposed to be a suite and advertised it’s Wifi. Unfortunately a few of the people in the group have work they need to do while here including video calls. Well the Wifi is not working, and we were told by the front that they don’t know when it will be back on, they’ll have to contact Comcast. They originally said the storm knocked it out, but the storm came later in the day and it already wasn’t working. Finally, and probably the reason I am now reviewing this place as a one star instead of a two or three, is “management”. After the Wifi issue and the fact we are spending roughly $10,000 for the four rooms we rented, I contacted the front office to get a discount for the Wifi issue since it was advertised as being included when we booked these rooms. I was told the first time the manager would be in the next day and I could talk to him then. When I went to the office the next day to talk to him, I was told he actually wouldn’t be available for two more days. I asked if they could please just text him or call him as it’s not about the money as much as it about getting the Wifi back and was told “sorry, he’s unresponsive, he doesn’t even look at this texts or answer calls”. I think that statement summarizes exactly where this business is now, a place that has unfortunately stopped caring about its property or it’s customers. I HIGHLY recommend staying somewhere else given all the choices in Ocean City. I would even recommend across the street at the Impala Suites until they build their next property and that starts getting neglected too.ORIGINAL REVIEW: My family had so much fun staying at this place. We highly recommend it! It has access to a pool, close proximity to the beach and boardwalk rides, and is a really nice, well setup room that is very clean, has a balcony and is very modern. We loved this place and have been back several times! My only issue is the rather high fee on the credit card payment method.

Great for Families. We stayed in a 2BR unit and couldn't be happier. Master had 1 King, other room had 2 doubles. Couch pulled out to a queen, but we didn't need that. The 2 full baths were nice so the kids had their BR and we had ours. The full kitchen was nice so we didn't have to eat out every night and could bring back leftovers. It comes with daily maid service, so you don't have to worry about fresh towels or a fresh made bed. It's withing the beach block, so we didn't have to cross a street to get to the beach or boardwalk. Free covered parking was great.
You get to use the pool at the Impala hotel next door, so ever day doesn't have to be a beach day. Already booked for next year!

For off season stays I highly recommend The Ebb Tide Suites! My wife & I celebrated 29 years of marriage with a QUIET 1 night getaway to the Atlantic City area. No big crowds or bordwalk pier activities; just a nice dinner and a romantic evening. I'm handicapped, (dual leg amputations), so I need a spacious bathroom with a shower/bathtub with a seat. Frankly, finding a room with those amenities close to the ocean is more difficult than one might imagine! The Ebb Tide Suites provided them at a reasonable price. Our apartment was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN & spacious. It was also private, secure & quiet. I loved our short stay; we will return for short stays in Ocean City!

Always a nice stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Other guests are always polite. Only a block from the beach. Plenty of parking. It's relatively quiet. Always our #1 pick.

We stayed in a two bedroom room during our stay. The location was amazing…it was less than half a block to the boardwalk. Some perks included covered parking, a pool, two bathrooms, and a big balcony. The hotel’s lobby isn’t located within the building, so you have to check in the hotel next door. Our balcony overlooked the amusement park which was really fun to watch, but it can be loud during the day. Our kids loved watching the rollercoaster. Thankfully it closed down before bedtime. Overall we loved this hotel!

We have stayed at Ebb Tide Suites several times. The staff is always helpful and the property is always clean. The location is great and we don't mind the noise from the amusement park. The biggest challenge is the parking lot. With the layout and the poles it can take time and patience to properly get in a parking spot. There has been a great improvement in the WiFi over the years and this time we had no issues. The biggest issue is that it's time to upgrade/replace the furniture. The beds make lots of noise and the couch and chairs are soft and not very comfortable.

The condo is much smaller than the photos make it appear. The furniture is chewed on the corners and the table is in poor shape. The beds were comfortable though. First day the frig leaked onto floor and had to be replaced. Not something you want to deal with on vacation with two 5 year olds and a 16 month old. the next day we realized dishwasher was not working and maintenance had to fix that. Don't expect to relax in the evening on the spacious deck because the loud noise and screaming of kids having fun won't allow that. The music they play until 11PM is pretty good though. Had to call housekeeping twice to run vacuum and take out trash. They did not arrive until the next day. The location is great if you don't mind all of the above. Nice pool, very close to boardwalk and beach. It was clean. Fully equipped kitchen? No pitcher, all dishes are glass so take some plastic if you have little kids. Pack and play included but no high chair. Hope this helps you make a decision on where to stay.

Very nice place to stay. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. We have stayed here many times, parking in the garage is tight if you have a big vehicle or one that doesn't turn short. Also, we don't mind the amusement park noise that is right there either, we have a little one who loves to be on the porch and watch the lights and sounds.
