Never go here! Both Helen, the owner of the shop, & her husband are some of the rudest people I have ever experienced. I used to go to this store every summer but last year was told that there were no clothes for me because I was plus size and that "maybe I would have better luck down the street." It made me cry & I felt horrible about myself.
This summer I thought I'd give them one more chance (since I love consignment shopping) and took my Down Syndrome best friend with me. We were watched very closely while in the store. The husband barked at my friend for letting a dress touch the floor. After a few mins in the store, Helen told us to hand over the clothes that I was holding; and come outside so she could talk to us. We followed her to the sidewalk where Helen proceeded to tell us that her store wasn't for us and that we should go shop at the thrift store further down Asbury Ave. She made us feel unwanted and discriminated against for being different. I will never step foot into this store again!

The owners customer service was pitiful. Not even 5 seconds after entering the store the lady made a comment about keeping our children close. Ok.. 15 steps ahead the gentleman made another comment about our children being in the store followed by “ we don’t have much for children” ok we’re not in here for kids. And then the guy came up to us and says “ you know there is a nice shaded bench out front witch in my opinion was him insinuating to take them outside. And that was it for us. They will never get our business and I will always mention this place to people when I have the opportunity

Owner made me uncomfortable right away for having my son with me so didn't make it more than three feet into the store. Aside from that it smelled like a dirty old attic. Will not be back which is unfortunate because I do love consign shopping

I love this place… the owner and her husband are super happy and kind, they make you feel comfortable when mining… I love this place, I highly recommend it

Really rude customer service. I never write reviews and it was so bad that I felt compelled to do it if that says anything. The owner Helen was sarcastic and unreasonable to another young costumer, saying that the high price for a coat was bc it was mink even though it was damaged and would need to be repaired after purchase. My friend was also scolded unnecessarily by the husband saying that sitting where he was will disrupt selling merchandise (as if it was mostly lame and unappealing anyway). Maybe provide more seating options near the dressing rooms? Also I went to pay for a perfume and while I was contemplating my purchase she tells me “you don’t have to buy it” and proceeded to spray it on herself. Who does that? I paid for it and left and her sidekick came out and watched us for some unknown reason. Very weird individuals and based on other reviews should maybe reconsider their approach on customer service.

Really rude customer service. Owner rushed me out while in the dressing room and made me feel bad for trying on items. Another owner sassed my friend when asking if she could pay with card, then proceeded to spray the perfume (that my friend was buying ) on herself. The experience made me not want to buy anything at all. Owners also came out to watch us when we were leaving. If you're below the age of 40 don't come in because they'll assume you're stealing.

I've been coming to this store for a decade. Super interesting and quirky stuff, but the owner is so RUDE. I went in there with some friends today and as I was browsing, she went up to my friends told them "you aren't real shoppers are you?". I heard her say this to a few other groups as well- all skewing younger. She was profiling them because she assumed young people don't have $10 to spend in her store?! I also asked if I could try on a hat that was hanging up really high. She launched into a tirade about how hard it is to get the hats down and replace them. I told her to forget it. if it's so hard to get the hats, maybe don't hang them like that? She was seriously so rude and made us feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. I used to love this place but won't be giving her any more of my money.

I was only in the store briefly. I went in to ask how to consign and found that she also buys things outright. Nice. I will be back with some furs and other things and see how I make out. She has a LOT of things that seemed very nice, but I could only briefly glance around quickly. Lots of shoes and purses. The owner was polite and helpful. However, the shop is EXTREMELY crowded. I would have a difficult time finding anything, the clothing was so tightly jammed on the racks. As others have said, it’s is DEFINITELY not a place for shoppers with children. Leave them home. It’s too crowded for little ones.
