Went to store over Thanksgiving break. Never going back here. I saw a small flying bug in the display case. I thought “it happens” and decided I would pick something out in a different case. When I went to another display case, I saw 2 flying bugs. My mom casually said to the lady at the cash register, “there’s bugs flying in the display cases. We were going to buy something, but we decided not to.” She made a face and said “that’s not my problem, that’s their problem” and pointed to the back of the store. I guess none of the employees or management cares. What a shame.

My husband wasn’t with me at the time so I purchased a large bag of salt water taffy for him. I brought it home it was absolutely the worst taffy I have ever had ! ! My hubby has a big sweet tooth and he also said it was horrible!! I spent $25.00 ! What a waste of money !!

Turkish Disappointment with the Capital Disney D. When I checked out, I was extremely shocked that the 1lb of Turkish delights (shown in photo) and 2 bags of cotton candy came out to $72 dollars total. The pricing was not visible on most items. The Turkish Delights tasted like they been sitting for months, everything was stale. The lemon Turkish delight was like I was cutting through a tire. The pistachio powder looks like it was scraped off the floor and tasted like it was found under a couch. Please stay away from this place, everything is overpriced and not worth your money.

Certainly, hCandy Land, with its vibrant light film on the Ocean City boardwalk, left a strong first impression on me. At first, I was overwhelmed by the vast selection, but as I explored further, I discovered not only a wide variety of choices but also high-quality confections and sweets. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll undoubtedly find yourself torn between all the tempting options, making it a delightful challenge to choose the perfect treat.

Staff are friendly, but this shop is overpriced in several different ways. The "bag your own" candy is $16/lb (marked as $3.99/quarter-lb), while other shops on the boardwalk are at $10-$11/lb. The fudge is not only more expensive by weight, but they won't cut blocks down like other shops will; you have to take a full, precut block of any flavor you want, and naturally they're heavier than they're supposed to be. I had to order a pound to get 4 flavors, which is already too much, and then the 4 precut blocks actually weighed over a pound and a half. So instead of paying $9 to get 4 flavors at another shop, I ended up paying $25 to get way more than I needed. And after all of that, 3 of the 4 flavors weren't even very good.This was the most disappointing stop on our boardwalk trip. We definitely will not be back.

Turkish Delight was not as good as I had been expecting, given some of the other reviews. It wasn't expired, but it definitely felt stale and was not very delicious. Certainly not worth the absurd price I paid for my small chunk, either.My issue with the place is that they not only do not have clear pricing on anything, but that they try to cheat you. I asked the lady behind the counter how much the Turkish Delight was, and she mumbles in a very quiet voice, changing multiple times between "piece" and "pound" and "long piece" and other variations. Okay, fine, I figure she's going to weigh it and I'll see. She weighs it twice and this multiplies the price, what should have been 7.99 a pound turns into a tiny piece that is over ten dollars. I definitely did not get more than a pound of Turkish Delight, and I feel scammed.Buyer beware. It was entirely my fault for not checking the receipt and disputing it, but the place feels very dishonest, and it's not worth the price for the quality you get. You get the feeling that they try to mislead tourists because they can get away with it and figure that you're not going to travel all the way back to Ocean City to argue. Avoid this place, it's not worth it, you can get better sweets from anywhere else on the boardwalk for much cheaper and with clear prices and clerks that don't try to rip you off. It's no wonder that they didn't have any customers in there when I went, and I have no idea why they're still open.

Just spent 15 bucks on stale fudge and some not so stale fudge.Banana and some rocky road.Buy where turnover of products matters, so you know it's been freshly made.

WoW Greeted by warm friendly staff who werent pushy, gave great advice, and they had a heck of a clean store. Ive looked for home made Turkish Delights for YEARSSSS and finally found them!! Omg they live up to all the hype. The best selection hands down.They also have incredible house made fudge. Macaroons. Baklava.... and those just some of the treats! The younger main baker (owner?) Told us its all fresh with no corn syrup or fake ingredients and thats why they stay fresh for sooo long...Spent an hour in there with out thinking and shopping around. They also have a coupon in one of the clipper books so be sure to grab it.

I don't understand that negative review. Everything I tried from chocolate to fudge to candy was delicious and fresh. Huge selection and a lot of specialty treats you won't find anywhere else. They have tons of gifts and some really unique souvenirs. Check them out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

For a person with a sweet tooth like me this is a Heaven on Earth. Just look at this deliciousness. I purchased some gifts for my family too. It is a variety of truffles in an elegant packaging.
