5-start over and over! I have been coming to boyers for the past 4 years as I work and live year round on the island, always great service always great food. Definitely the best deli in Ocean City! Congratulations on 100 years! I will be seeing you soon!

I have been coming here for 25 years. I was ignored several times this summer. Today was the last straw. I was the only customer in the store and waited patiently for 5 minutes while everyone either looked the other way or watched football. I was going to buy 4 crab cakes and 4 filets along with some salads and bread. Good food but good luck getting it. The staff is lazy and entitled.

Very pleasant staff in the kitchen, as well as the deli counter employees and cashier. I also happen to be a subcontractor for the 1 of the owners and can personally vouch for the fact that she puts everything into her establishment and I am proud to do business with her.They also make an A+ cheesesteak.

With Boyar's having been around since 1924 I get the sense they do not care how they're rated on Yelp. But even so, I feel the need to shout out just how good our lunch was the other day - my girlfriend's breakfast sandwich looked really good, and my hoagie was excellent. The Salvucci packed so many flavors and textures, the roll was perfect, and the hot pepper relish was such a great addition. Will be back here for many years.

I've been a Boyers fan for years. Good food. Reliable. However, last time I had a cheesesteak it was burned. This evening I was driving by and decided to go in and place an order. Waited 10 to 15 minutes and was not even acknowledged being there yet alone asked if I was picking up or ordering. They were sure answering the phone and taking orders. I went to the car to get my phone as I could go in and get my call answered. No cell service in the street or in the establishment. Drove a few blocks to get cell service and called to let them know my issue and was given excuses. There is no excuse. You provided poor service. She turned it to me and said I should have spoken up. There were 4 other customers waiting and not greeted as well. I know everyone is having staffing issues but to not even acknowledge the customer is waiting......a simple, I'll get to you as soon as I can goes a long way.

Good food, but poor service.I’ve ordered from Boyars three times - one time was great, but the other two times I was told the food would be ready in “about an hour” only to get there and wait another 30 minutes one instance (hour and a half total) and an extra 45 another (hour and forty five minutes total).Apparently this must happen fairly often because the girl at the counter wasn’t fazed by my wait. When I said the food was supposed to be ready by 6:30 she replied, “Well, we’re passed that now, aren’t we?” Not the response I was hoping for.

My wife and I love this place we go there at least 3 times a week when we go to the shore. We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints.

We pick-up hot food to go a couple times a week. Yesterday we purchased teriyaki salmon and rice. What a great dinner, quite possibly the best salmon we've eaten. Highly recommend the food there.

Boyar's Market is the first restaurant in my lifetime to drive me to Yelp. I ordered chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce. I received an order of chicken tenders engulfed in honey mustard. It was chicken finger soup in a honey mustard broth. It was offensive. I figured someone made a mistake so I called. Once I explained my concern, the manager answered me as if she's dealt with this complaint 1,000 times. She said, "that's just how we do it, next time ask for light honey mustard". Listen, I'll ask for dressing on the side for a salad, but I've been all over the US and I've never had to order dipping sauce on the side for an order of chicken tenders. It just comes on the side. Apparently the owner of Boyar's has the common sense god granted an animal cracker bc they assume chicken tender soup is what everybody wants. No one wants chicken finger soup. It's not even a thing. Chicken tenders come fried right? Fried food is crunchy right? Well, it isn't crunchy when it's been saturated with the dipping sauce of your choice. It's soggy and gross. I want everyone to imagine the individual that would even attempt to clean that kind of plate. Who drinks honey mustard? Who drinks BBQ sauce? Who drinks any kind of dipping sauce? It's absurd, and it doesn't make any sense logistically. It was literally 6 or 7 times the normal amount of honey mustard. Don't get the chicken tenders! Embarrassed for the staff at Boyar's.

Those chicken tenders are incredibly good! They even have a whole store of various food items such as chips, candy, snacks, and whatnot that you can purchase when you go in the place!

Given this places many chances and will not be back. Was there twice in one weekend and both times IGNORED at the deli counter! They have no number system, and today was my last straw. I was going to order about $100 worth of hot food from the hot food case for dinner. First the man behind the counter ignored me and helped another man when I was waiting for 10 min. Looked at me multiple times and kept conversng. I patiently waited and then when he finished with the customer … he looked at me , and WALKED AWAY! Horrible customer service and I will go else where!!!! Never again!
