We love this store…and visit every time we are at the Jersey Shore. It is a special shop, with quality merchandise and the nicest employees. My 8 yr old got her ears pierced there this year, and they were exceptionally patient and kind to her. They made the experience flawless (special kudos to Gabby). In prior years she also did the fun makeovers, which she loved. I would highly recommend Bowfish to anyone!!! (Note - If you do plan to get ears pierced there, plan ahead…they book up fast. I put my name on a waitlist and they texted me when an opening became available).

The staff at Bowfish exceeded expectations for our family while visiting OCNJ for the week. My 6 year old daughter finally decided she was ready to get her ears pierced and friendly beach goers recommended Bowfish to us. Upon calling, we were disappointed to learn there was no availability while we were visiting. Within a few hours, Bowfish called (without us even leaving a request to call us, they just went above and beyond) indicating they could get us in.Gabby, who had called back and did the piercing, was calming, patient, and thorough with previewing what the experience would be for both my husband and I, and my daughter. Any parent knows this can be a long anticipated experience and we are so thankful to say it couldn’t have gone better. Thank you Bowfish team, we’ll see you in a few short years for our twins when they’re ready.

Really cute and large selection of clothing you can’t find elsewhere. Got my son this Binky Bro hat there and a few other things. Very helpful staff that acknowledge your baby and smile and talk with them and make you feel welcome! Also if your baby sings or fusses they either sing along or want to lend a helping hand. If you have a baby definitely stop there it’ll be hard for you to not buy stuff!

Such a cute little store and salon (yes they have a kids salon in the back where they do hair braiding, mermaid glitter hair etc.) Very expensive, though. For example: we bought 2 plastic head bands, 2 mermaid bead bracelets and a baby teether and it was about $100

Sweetest little store for little ones. My two little boys love going in and finding a new fun toy or outfit! Pleasant atmosphere and sweet workers!

We’ve booked this venue multiple times and each an every moment has been made extremely special by the staff at Bowfish. They treated my daughters in an attentive and charming manner. My Girls are always excited to visit Bowfish!

Here for 4 days from NYC with two kids. Had a great experience here. The quality of the vendors/stock was top-notch and we left with two rain jackets, a mermaid outfit for our birthday girl, and a wand. A staff member, named Sophia, overheard it was my daughters birthday and made her day by putting mermaid glitter on her arm. They have toys, clothes, accessories, and do parties. Everyone was really friendly here, especially our sales associate (wish I got her name) and it was a great shopping stop for our family. Recommended!

Bowfish is one of our MUST visit places when we are in OCNJ! The staff is just wonderful and always so friendly! They wear masks now during covid even though after the mask mandate has been lifted since they interact with children on a regular basis and I really appreciate that as a momma is 3- 7 and under. The shop is adorable and has really unique clothing items and a great books selection! Just being in the store and exploring the nooks and crannies excites our littles! I can not recommend this store enough for anyone with little ones!

We loved our first visit to Bowfish Kids! Keira gave my daughter an awesome fairy makeover in the studio . Great customer service and quality beautiful products . I even shopped for Christmas gifts early here . Will definitely be back when we visit ocean city , nj again.

Please support this amazing kids shop in OCNJ! They curated the most beautiful kids items and even have a mermaid and shark salon in the back for kid makeovers. This visit was the highlight of my daughters vacation in OC. Thank you!

Love this store! I don't have kids and have trouble shopping for children's gifts. The staff is so helpful. I'll tell them about the child I'm shopping for and my price range and they pick a thoughtful gift for me. The clothes have nice details like magnetic closures on onesies and super soft fabric. It's very cute in the store too and they are super creative and keep it interesting for kids to visit too.
