I guess since this Acme in in Ocean City, they can Jack all the prices up and charge whatever they feel like. Crazy times. Make sure you bring everything you need before getting here, or you will spend a boat load for everything.

This team is wonderful! I’m from Pennsylvania and on vacation here in Ocean City. I needed a prescription that was sent to a cvs and it was out of stock. The pharmacist here went above and beyond to help me get it within 45 minutes. She made all the phone calls and did all the leg work for me. Truly grateful for the excellent service they provided for me. Highly recommend this pharmacy! Thanks again ?

I don't know what the deal is with this Pharmacy but apparently they don't like taking care of their patience. I went in to pick up a prescription I had new insurance I didn't have my card but I had my ID number and the woman behind the counter when I asked her to look it up was too lazy and told me the system was down I know it wasn't down she was too lazy to look for it so I had to pay out of pocket and now I have to go about getting reimbursed. Go to Walgreens if possible

Try to avoid doing business here. One of the female pharmacists ( I don't know her name) is both sloppy and completely unprofessional. Let me explain.I called ahead inquiring about the latest Moderna vaccine. I asked if they offered the vaccine free to those without medical insurance and was told they did not. The woman on the phone (possibly the pharmacist in question) said it was being offered free at CVS and Walgreens. I thanked her. I called both pharmacies and was told this is not true. The next day I called Acme back again. I asked how much the vaccine was out of the pocket. I also inquired about the HepB vaccine. I was told they are both $70.00 each. I told them I would be there within 20 minutes and I was. I asked again about the price of the vaccine and was told after they scan my information(?) they would confirm the price. I filled out all their paperwork and then I was told after they had all my personal information that the Moderna vaccine was $249.99.This woman (pharmacist) was sloppy. Both her appearance and her job skills. Her Eagles jersey protruding out of her white pharmacist coat. It was 1 P.M. Sunday and I suppose she was more concerned about catching the game than doing her job. Thanks Acme for wasting by my time even when calling ahead. What do you do with your customer's information after you do your bait-and switch?

It’s cute bc it’s a seaside old school grocery store. The isles are super narrow and there were staff stocking the shelves 2-3 deep in every isle. Very hard to navigate. Accessibility is horrible. They’re fully stocked!

Great selection, especially for a beach acme. A little pricey, but not too different compared to regular acme. I was happy that they had a lot of produce, even with all of the beach traffic.

Very clean, easy access. Customer service was great. Definitely one of the better ACME's I've been too.

The ACME on 8th St has a very good selection for a grocery store at the beach. I like how you can shop here and still get all the brands you do at home for the same price. They also have a pretty good meat selection. The bakery stocks local and NJ good along with charcuterie items like fancy cheeses and cured meats. Essentially this place will have what you need. Something to note is that renters typically come on Saturday, so both Fridays and Saturdays tend to be very busy at this location. If you can get there on another day (Thursday night, Friday morning) your experience will be better. Parking is limited and tight, but they do have a free underground garage that is usually empty. It floods when there is rain, but its worth it to take the elevator instead of having to deal with the mayhem upstairs. This is pretty much your only option in the north end of Ocean City, but they will definitely have what you need. Post-Covid, you can even order your groceries ahead.

Our experience was not so good. The place was packed even though they claimed to be limiting customers. The grapes were all prepackaged and were moldy when we opened them at home. The in store bakery seems sketchy since the bread was frozen. At least it seemed clean. Checkout is a disaster.

Don’t enforce their own rules for social distancing and don’t know how to respond to consumer complaints appropriately
