A manager visited both houses ahead of time to size up the job and help us figure out how best to prepare, and he was a great resource. At my request, Aron was willing to send out small crews on three different days to help us prep, and that really relieved the stress.I can't emphasize enough the high quality of people Aron Movers sends out. I have now worked with 11 different people at the company, and every single one was personable, professional and HIGHLY effective. They worked quickly but with great care and precision, gave good advice but also followed instructions well.After all this, we actually finished our big move early AND significantly under budget, which was incredible. “We had an incredible experience with Pineapple movers! Our move was a little funky in terms of locations and logistics, but The team showed up on time and was very professional. They moved large furniture and disassembled/ re-assembled everything with care. Honestly the way they got our furniture in our lofted space with narrow stairways was some kind of a miracle. I also collect house plants ( I have over 100), and NONE of the plants were damaged at all!!! Not even any lost leaves!Like mentioned our move was tricky, and even though it took much longer than expected, the guys kept good attitudes and were determined to make sure it was as stress free as possible for us!Would highly recommend!”

“Moving, no matter the distance, is stressful and unpleasant. My boyfriend and I weren’t moving far, but were completely overwhelmed after trying to move our things bit by bit. From the moment I requested an estimate from Gentle Giant, I received nothing but amazing service. On the day of our actual move, three charming, funny and considerate guys showed up at our door (early)! James A., Stephen C and Mikyas B. were a dream team. They took great care with all our furniture and offered to take more than what we had listed on our estimate inventory. They helped move our art collection and a closet full of clothes on hangers, all things we had considered moving in our car. There were some issues going into our new building (a service elevator that was down and painters who were finishing up). But these guys were professional, taking everything in stride. I know I was so anxious about the move, but they put me at ease. Even though there were extra charges added at the end, the total amount was still way less than what we had expected. Hands down would recommend Gentle Giant to anyone who needs to move!”

“Rush Hour moved my apartment recently! I had a hard time finding a good moving company and chose this one because it is licensed and insured. They had proper paperwork and contracts.The people who came were extremely professional and also friendly and warm. They were in good spirits and took care of everything, including my TV, which I'd been unable to pack up alone. People who work hourly sometimes have an incentive to work more slowly but they had moving down to a science and moved everything I own in just a couple hours without delay, which saved me both time and money. They are nice people that you feel comfortable having in your home as well. I will be calling this company again next time I move.”

“This company was referred by an organization that serve seniors. We had a 500 mile move. They were great. They had us provide an inventory list, which they helped us to fill out, the team came prepared, covering all the furniture in plastic wrap and blankets, the team handled our furniture with great care. There was a team of 4, they worked very well together. The supervisor of the team answered all questions, explained what was expected and was very patient with us. He delivered our belongings in great condition. Bobby the owner, was very patient as we asked many questions along the way. I had the pleasure of working with Pete, Taci, Jamal and Mike and they were all kind, attentive, and wonderful to work with.They worked hard as a team over two days to pack my two-bedroom apartment and move everything to my new location across state lines. “Found these guys through a recommendation, and I'm very pleased with their work! They came a little late, but they texted me beforehand, which was nice. It was only like 15 minutes, so not a big deal. (a while ago on another move I'd used a different company, and woo boy, like night and day!). I had packed up everything, and the three-man team practically flew through! Then they got the rest of my stuff from my storage unit. It was a 10'x10' packed to the door, and even that went very quickly! Ended up having to wait a little while for my elevator slot at my end destination, but better early than late! On moving day Andrew and Nick were there on time and immediately put us at ease with their calm but focused demeanor. We've been moved in for a couple weeks now and unpacked a lot of boxes, but so far we haven't found a single thing damaged – including a dresser that falls apart if you look at it the wrong way, which I forgot to warn them about. They took great care of our stuff, managing to safely and securely tetris a 2-bedroom house's worth of stuff into one 15-ft truck. Their hourly rate was also more than fair. Hire them and it'll be the easiest and least stressful part of your move!”
