This store is going down hill since the new owners took over. Not sure why is such a large store, the product selection has dropped. More expense items have been kept, the more economical items have been removed. Value for dollar has dropped. The produce continues to be average. The self checkout process is now a nightmare with the scales in the bagging area turned on. Every other item requires the employee to touch the check out terminal. Waste of employee's and the customer's time. The employee's of the store are very good and friendly.

Horrible "shop from home". First time using Oakland Shoprite for a pick up order and will NOT be back! Zero signs for where to "pick up"!? Bizarre.1/2 of my order was missing and there was no substitution options - for ANY of the items they were out of !? Give me a break ! Don't waste the $4.99 they charge to pick your order at this ShopRite

I love the extra heating for shoppers while perusing aisles that can be too cold at times. All the employees are very nice as well!

Beyond incompetent, Don't support a store that's this disorganized with zero management. Manager failed to call me back after my order is 3 hours late. Two weeks after my daughter's first birthday cake was not made on time on the day of pickup. This store is a joke, I hope they close. They lost a customer today.

This store is a joke. If I could give it zero stars I would. I've been using shop from home since it started. The last 6 months the service has been horrible. Substitutions are idiotic. Customer service is non existent. Even going in the store is useless. It's time to spend my well earned money elsewhere.

I am so disappointed in how bad this store has become. I have been shopping here for over 25 years, and will not shop there again . They have rearranged the store so it makes no sense what so ever, the produce goes bad quickly, the milk goes bad quickly, there is no longer the great variety the old owners offered. The staff for the most part are rude and could not care less.On line ordering has become a joke. You have to wait forever, you no longer get a call with out of stocks so you can plan differently, getting what you ordered is a lottery you are lucky if they have what you ordered . I do not blame the employees at all . Although many that have been there for well over 25 years are now gone , there has to be a reason .The new owners have ruined this store and you can tell by how few people are there on the weekends , it used to be that you could barely walk around the store it was so crowded. Not anymore even with covid no line outside because they have hit the limit of people allowed in the store at one time . I cant wait for the new Super Shop Rite to be finished in Wayne if ever otherwise I am going to shop at Stop and Shop from now on it may be more expensive, but at least the owners know how to run a supermarket .Shame they took a great business and are running it into the ground. Read the comments on Facebook about them, loyal customers are traveling further to get better service and selection . I doubt the owners even read these reviews ! But if they do they better fix what is wrong fast because word of mouth from regular customers on social media is telling people to stay away .

So sad. This used to be a great store. The shelves are empty, the quality has plumeted. They are mean too.. They no longer have challenged people employed as elevator operators. I hope Bobby and his wife are hanging in there.

Went from being one of the best supermarkets I have ever been in to one of the worst. It used to be a staple of the neighborhood. Great customer service a wonderful variety of inventory. People would come from all around just to shop there. Now it is all corporate. They have taken away the variety in the hopes that you will buy what gives them the biggest profit margin. That down-home customer service and feeling of neighborhood is no longer there it has been replaced by a feeling of being in a factory. Many of the items that you need in your daily life are in low supply or non-existent. I still go there because it's local to me but if I need anything specific I now go to A different location because this store simply does not carry the items I seek any longer It's a darn shame what this store has turned into.

Unfortunately, the new management ( ShopRite Corporate?) has changed the store entirely from the customer service, they've extended the self-service checkout cutting down on cashiers, the inventory is not consistent, and we no longer have the friendly store managers that we used to have (Drew?) who couldn't do enough for us and after 20 years of being a customer, I will be shopping elsewhere.

Have to agree. 3 o'clock pick up. Got a call saying they are running late. Finally ready 4:45. I arrive. Easily a dozen cars waiting - watched the young man taking names come back out and tell people that their orders would not be ready. Left my husband in the car on line while I ran in for other things. Shelves picked bare. Finally got my order at 5:30. Kids packing overwhelmed. Never again. Go to west Milford ShopRite. Beautiful store better stock

Shame on me for waiting this long to drop ShopRite but **never again**. Waited over 45 minutes on line for ShopRite from Home while arriving well within my time slot only to get to the front of the line where I was told my order was lost and would need to be re-picked. In that amount of time I could have gone in and done the shopping myself. New owners are horrendous. The selection is terrible--there's nothing on the shelves. Done wasting my time and being inconvenienced when there are plenty of other options available.

The new management just does not seem to care about the customer. Shelves are somewhat empty and Covid can no longer be the excuse. Items have been rearranged in ways that do not make sense. Deli department people are very rude. People that have worked there for years are not happy. I have shopped at this ShopRite for 40 years. Since Drew is gone, things have gone downhill very quickly. Time to find a new food store!

Hi new owners, this review is for you, you've lost a customer, and from what I hear more than just me are searching for a new place to shop. When managers could care less what you think, when those same managers understaff the store and the shop from home section, when prices are raised over 120% within a month for staple pantry food items, I just cannot shop here anymore. So sad, I really liked shopping here for over two decades.

It's such a shame the new ownership has completely ruined this store. i've been going here for essentially 50 years. In the last month they have shortened their stock so things are always missing, reordered the whole store so things I always bought can't be found, and the excellent manager they had all those years is now gone. He ran things so well and now it's a disaster. The From Home service is terrible. Your order comes missing tons of things and they don't substitute even if you indicate yes when the app asks. This is not Covid, this is when new ownership is clueless.
