Just received our new "sexy leg" dining set (42x70 Maple table, expandable with 4 extra leaves to seat up to 12 people, Boston color finish, 6 upholstered chairs, twist leg design on the table and chairs) and already absolutely in love with it! The owners were incredibly patient with me and my husband as we were originally very indecisive with the style, wood, color, design, etc. They gave great recommendations given our space and personal asthetic, and listened to our requests to make a few custom changes to combine aspects we liked from different styles. Delivery and setup was easy to our Manhattan apartment. Looking forward to hosting meals with our family and friends and showing off our new table!

I have made several purchases from Shore Casual and have ALWAYS been happy. I have recommended several friends, all of whom were equal pleased. Paul, Royce and the entire team are wonderful!

Early 2023, I ordered what I thought would be a gorgeous dinette set but was disappointed when it arrived. For the money we paid and the time we waited, it stung. The stain was significantly darker than what I'd selected from a sample table in-store and the delivery men knew it. When I said, "OMG, that's much darker than the color I picked" they commented about how it always looks different bc it's custom and people frequently give them a hard time. Almost like they knew it was coming. I guess I'm too nice bc I let it go and accepted delivery. For the past few months we've used the table here and there and I've discovered imperfections in the chairs (rough edging in different places). Is it good quality? It's better than the usual stuff you can find I'm sure but a couple of my chairs are already squeaking. I've only had this set for 3.5 months and we're 2 people - a normal weighted couple so there's def no strain on these chairs. I'd never spend that kind of money again for what I received. I'd rather buy a cheaper set. Obviously, since I accepted delivery I'll have to live with it but I probably shouldn't have. Wasn't the experience I'd hoped for. An expensive set and I don't love it. That's an honest review. I have heard great things but it was not my experience.

Worst experience I've ever dealt with. Owner (Paul McMahon) is a liar and threatens females. I couldn't believe the ongoing issues after purchasing my $12k bedroom set. After waiting 4-5 months to receive the set, multiple pieces were wrong measurements. One dresser had to have a new top put on since the original top had a long crack. Paul at first agreed to make corrections for me. I waited additional months to receive corrected pieces. When Paul and team arrived with corrections, instead of bringing the new dresser top, he informed me on the day of delivery that he just had a whole new dresser built for me instead, and that he made sure the wood was selected from the exact lot as the wood from my other pieces so that it would match. I knew something seemed off since drawers weren't opening properly and the color was off. Later that evening I looked back at old photos on my phone that I took in their show room 6 months prior, only to realize that each character mark on this dresser was exactly the same as the one in this 6 month old photo. PAUL LIED TO ME AND BROUGHT ME A USED FLOOR MODEL DRESSER. I looked on further and noticed he also brought me the used floor model mirror. I spent $12k on furniture that was supposed to be newly built for me, only to be lied to, given a whole BS story, and receive old used floor model pieces. I confronted Paul over the phone the next morning about this lie and asked him to be honest with me. Paul got immediately angry and defensive, denying the whole situation. He blamed his drivers, insisting that they must have brought the wrong pieces. I told him I felt like he has not done honest business with me. He got really nasty and finally agreed to bring the correct dresser back but I would have to wait for it. Right after this, I was blocked from their FaceBook even though I hadn't done or said anything on social media whatsoever. It just proved he had something to hide. Due to this issue I did a temporary dispute for the amount of the dresser on my credit card, just until I received my corrected piece. I knew at this point I couldn't trust Shore Casual or Paul so I needed to cover myself in case I got screwed over again. Paul learned of this temporary dispute and called me. I couldn't get a word in during this conversation and had to speak to him as if he were a child since he kept shouting over me. He said "YOU'RE LUCKY YOU'RE NOT A MAN BECAUSE THIS SITUATION WOULD BE HANDLED MUCH DIFFERENTLY." He went on to say he has a lot of nasty things to say to me but is biting his tongue. He was continuously deny any wrongdoing on his part. After being threatened I told him I would just like a refund of the entire set and he can come pick it up. He didn't show on pick-up day luckily. It was only his drivers. But I had to have my father take off work and be there with me in case Paul was there. I didn't know what he would be capable of after how I was threatened. Paul is aggressive, disrespectful, an untrustworthy businessman, and a terrible boss to throw his staff under the bus. What a relief it was to get that furniture out of my apartment and never have to deal with that man again. Although it was 6 months of my time and energy wasted, I found a better solution for myself anyway and had my grandmother's old wood dressers restored and refinished for a fraction of the price. Word of advice if you are considering Shore Casual for new furniture.. DON'T. As nice as the furniture appears to be, it is not worth dealing with a man like Paul. God forbid you need any corrections, which you will since simple measurements seem to be a challenge, you will deal with the hassle of a lifetime. I would recommend going direct to an Amish builder. Cut out the middle man who is just making money off you anyway.

We drove over 20 miles to look for counter stools. We hit a lot of traffic and arrived 7 minutes before the closed. When we walked in the woman yelled we are closing. I understand it was late, but she could have been nicer and said take a quick look and if you like something we can make an appointment for tomorrow. Poor customer service can kill a business. I for one won't bother going back to this store

We ordered a table and chairs on Friday 7/1, and the items were delivered TODAY! What an amazing experience we had from point of sale to delivery. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality furniture.

The name of this amazing store does not do it justice! we purchased a beautiful dinning room table, chairs, China cabinet and bar last year and we were able to customize it to make something uniquely our style. the beauty and quality of the furniture makes it worth the wait! thank you Shore casual for amazing furniture and equally great customer service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The owners at Shore casual Dinettes are amazing! You just don't get better customer service! Our whole experience at this store from start to finish was top notch! We love our new kitchen and dinning room sets they are not only beautiful, but they are strong and built to last for generations. We are very happy with our purchases !
