Disgusting restrooms. There is no paper on the door or wall indicating the last time it has been cleaned like some other public restrooms. Also, there is no toilet seat cover dispenser which is just disgusting. Please do something about this!

Love Nutley shop rite! ESPECIALLY the butcher & bakery ! Belleville shoprite great too. But they dont have a butcher counter. Only reason I gave 4 out a 5 stars is because they stopped using brown bags. The plastic bags dont hold the food in a secure way and everything gets jumbled around and squished. Even if they double plastic it's still no good. The plastic is the worse for the environment so what gives? The brown bags with the handles were terrific! Wish they would use them again! I'd be willing to pay a nickle a bag!!!!! So how about it SHOP RITE?

As a former Inserra Shop-Rite employee, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, customer service and wide span of food choices at this location. What makes this store so appealing is the fact it has so many specialty departments such as fish, deli, bakery, sushi, meat and produce departments. The store was very crowded today and that is probably because of the Super Bowl, but the place is clean and organized and unfettered by the volume of shoppers which is a great benefit to consumers. The meat is prepared to order and they have pre-sliced cold cuts as well as an array of hot and prepared items which rivals WHOLE FOODS. The store is community friendly as I noticed all the employees wear burgundy gear which is the color of Nutley HS. The parking is a bit tight and could use more spaces as well as new asphalt and paving. This is a very profitable Shop-Rite with a wildly loyal clientle. The choices are evident and they fit nicely in the community. They have people bagging at every check out line and the overall experience is positive. This store caters to seniors as well as small families with children. Highly recommend!

Had to bring a friend to shop because they don't have their own vehicle. I bought a few items and then went looking for friend. I was stopped told to produce my receipt and then told I can't walk around with my bags. I was treated like a thief. I will never shop here again nor bring my friend here

Plenty of free parking in two lots on both sides of the store. Option to call in your prescription 24/7 and they will tell you when it will be ready. Accepts all insurance plans. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. Doctors may call / fax in prescriptions. Separate check out for pharmacy from the rest of the store.

BAKERY !!! I ordered a full sheet cake for a retirement party .. vanilla , whip cream icing. FRESH strawberry filing , custard . I've was asked non-stop where did I get the cake . No one believed me it was from Shoprite ! I did overhear a conversation in a salon mentioning that every time they ordered cake .. everybody raves about it .. unlike the Carlos Bakery .. no one touches it ..

We love our local ShopRite in Nutley. Besides a great variety, they constantly keep the shelves stocked. If they are out of something they have no problem going in the back for more. We recently purchased a sheet cake and cupcakes for a party. The 1/2 sheet cake was so fresh and tasty. Everyone wanted to know where we purchased it. We ordered a vanilla cake with custard and fresh strawberry filling and whipped cream icing. People couldn't say enough about it. We also had a special order for Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese icing. Once again - everyone loved them. If find that Their bakery items are always fresh especially on special orders. It is our "go to" bakery for large orders.

We have been using the service for a while now I like it takes the easy out of food shopping. We still go in for our fruits and veggies. They seem to pick the smaller size fruits and the not so fresh veggies. But won't stop using the service lol

Shop rite from home is the best. I order all my food online and it is ready to be put in my trunk as soon as I pull in the lot. Including my prescriptions. The home shoppers always make great substitutions if what I want is not available. Then they even call me to see if I forgot to order something or need to add to my order. For a person with limited mobility, they are shopping angels. This is the best customer service addition you have ever made. I have been shopping at this shop rite for 35 years and it just keeps getting better. Thanks for the great work.
