I bought my dog here a week after she suffered from diarrhea and vomiting following an event on National Dog Day. Dr. Schmitt , the receptionist and the wonderful staff have done a phenomenal job in helping me and my pomeranian Mocha! They were courteous, friendly, reassuring me that she was going to be okay. They were very gentle with her and patient with me. She was back to normal after a week. I can't thank them enough!

This place is very clean and nicely updated, but it’s very open without any sound dampening. So, my reactive rescue dog was scared and barking a lot … and it was like echoing throughout the building! Lots of tile and high ceilings are unkind to loud girls! So I had to take her outside and wait.
It’s a VERY BUSY office, but it wasn’t a terrible wait. They took us in the side door to bypass the lobby. The room was clean and decent. They had tubs of precut treats like cheese! The vet was very nice and made fast friends with our sweet baby!
The vet was thorough, and we discussed all of our baby’s issues, meds, vaccines, etc and came up with a game plan for the next 6 months or so. So I feel very comfortable having our fur babies come to this vet clinic!
Aside from the issue with the waiting room, I will note that this vet is very pricey. But you get what you pay for (usually)! I will happily pay more for great care!
Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been bringing our senior cat here for the past few years, and he took his childhood dog here before that.
Our cat was 20 years old and very beloved. He had developed chronic kidney disease over the past few years as well, requiring more vet visits and specialized care.
Dr. Crupi and the staff were always kind and compassionate towards us and our cat. They would take the time to answer our questions or give us some tips to better take care of our old man. They were there for us in the end as well- making a difficult time a little bit easier. We both appreciate everything they did for Holden and us.

Horrible techs with an attitude the minute I walked in. Rude, rushed, and rough with my pet. And lazy vet, too. Have also heard the receptionists making fun of clients after getting off the phone with them. If they don’t like their jobs, they should find another. Can’t imagine how they treat animals when they take them to the back without the pet owners there to see what happens.

I called in this morning May 8th , for information about my puppy who’s 9 weeks old, I asked if I can come in today to get my dog first round of shots, the lady in the phone wasn’t sure what I was referring too and asked if I know the name of the vaccine. I told her my dog is a puppy it’s just the first shot and she replied with well if you don’t know the name of the shot I can’t help you. Plus we’re booked until June . Very unprofessional and seemed like she had an attitude issue. I would fire your staff and find someone who’s willing to work and not take your job for granted.

When I contacted Dog Cat & Bird clinic to arrange a second opinion appointment regarding my pet's ultrasound results, the person I spoke with came off as impolite and unprofessional. She quickly jumped to conclusions about the medical situation before I had a chance to fully explain my concerns. Additionally, she inaccurately labeled the situation as an emergency when it was not necessary. For context, my dog has slight crystallization in the bladder, and we were seeking advice on next steps, dietary adjustments, monitoring, and so forth. It's troubling that someone answering the phone would offer medical opinions without first reviewing relevant medical information. One star.

I just lost my pet of 19 years. They were compassionate and thoughtful. I' ve been going there for many years. That is probably why my Fifi lived so long (almost 19 years) What's amazing to me is. The doctor called me the following day to see how I was,,,,,nice and classy thing to do.

This clinic has gone down hill!I used to come in with my dog to see either Dr. Hilliard or Dr. Stancel, who are both GREAT vets. Unfortunately, I went in with my fiancé today to see Dr. Barbaris, and it was an absolute HORRIBLE experience. She gave no advise to the questions that we asked and the concerns we shared. We were told to "just keep doing what you're doing" whenever we brought up a concern about our dog. It seemed like she was more focused on completing his routine shots and getting out of there. Once everything was complete and we went back up front, we were hit with a $500 bill.I don't care at all about the amount of money needed to care for my pet. What I do care about is coming in with questions, not getting ANY of them answered, and leaving more confused than when we walked in while also receiving a large bill. I am so incredibly disappointed, as I've been coming here for years with pets that I've had way before my current dog, and to be pushed away by someone who is supposed to help and give advise is very disheartening.

Wow, brought my moluccan cockatoo Miki to Dr. Crupi 28 years ago to have his loose band removed. He is the best avian vet! I'm living on Florida since 2005 otherwise I would still be going to Dr. CRUPI!
