Patricia Collins, DVM, sets a remarkable standard for both professionalism and generosity. She is always patient with our many questions, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly. She often goes the extra mile— today she helped me take our dogs to the car after their procedures. Afterwards, she ran back outside just to give our “boys” treat bags in celebration of Dental Cleaning Month so we wouldn’t leave without them . Her kindness and dedication truly make all the difference.

“Myself and my family have taken our cats to Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital and always have received such amazing care. Recently, I had a kitten who ultimately was very sickly and did not make it but the vets at Sleepy Hollow handled the situation with extreme care and respect. While my kittens final care was handled by a recommended specialist, the vets at Sleepy Hollow personally called me to offer condolences, send me a card, and made a donation to Cornell University's animal science program in her honor. Unfortunately he succumbed to untreatable cancer. Doctor Asgar always called personality to ask how he was doing, and called personally to express her condolences. “Our dog, Niklaus, was a patient of Dr. Fisher’s until we moved 3 hours away, and we cannot find a vet who can hold a candle to Dr. Fisher and his staff! From the time you step into the office, you know that your fur baby is being well-cared for. The lovely women at the front desk are so patient on the phone and make the check-in process much less stressful, especially for dogs with high anxiety like ours. Mike, the vet tech, and Dr. Fisher get right on the floor to ease your pup’s fears, and handle your fur baby with such care and compassion. Dr. Fisher is knowledgeable not just in traditional western medicine, but he also explores eastern and holistic routes to treat the cause of the issue. Going to the vet is not a pleasant experience for any animal, but Dr. Fisher’s way of approaching our pup with such care and tenderness helped to lessen his anxiety and make the process less stressful for both Niklaus and us. Dr. Fisher and his team are angels, and the world needs more people like this! You can’t go wrong with Hillsdale Animal Hospital!”

“I would like to say thank you to the Manor Veterinary Clinic. We saw a pigeon get hit by a car and get a broken wing. I called my veterinarian in Eastchester, but they would not take the pigeon. I was passing Manor Veterinary Clinic, so I stopped in to ask if they would take care of the pigeon. They immediately said yes! They got a box and comfortable bedding for the pigeon. They told me if the pigeon could be saved, they would do their best! I followed up with a phone call and they were glad to speak with me! They informed me that they stitched the pigeon up and are making arrangements to have the pigeon go to a bird sanctuary and continue to heal! I just wanted to share my experience with this clinic. The women at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful and the veterinary team did not think twice to help this pigeon!”

“This is the kind of veterinary care I didn’t know existed.
For 16 years, my dog never got the compassion he truly deserved—most vet offices felt cold and impersonal. Near the end of his life, I reached out here. Even though we weren’t patients, they listened, offered advice, and followed up to check on him.
When it was time, I brought him in. I was sitting on the floor with my dog, and Dr. Simon came in and sat down on the floor next to us. She immediately showed more empathy and attention than any vet I’ve ever met. She teared up and wanted to hear all about his life.
We laughed, we cried, and I left heartbroken—but deeply grateful.”
