“I have been to surroundings three times now . Every time it is the same experience . Bad!!! Having been in retail my entire life I am an expert on good customer service and bad service . So this is a high end furniture store that caters to people from all over the area including people who may live on the beach in Ocean City , and when you live at the beach you tend to wear tshirts shorts and flip flops even when you go to a fancy furniture store . Well three times now I visited the store over a two year period and every time same thing the sales reps sat at their desk and ignored me . Today I walked in , rep number one no hello , drop dead or anything , rep # 2 a little better excused herself when she accidentally bumped into me , but still did not ask if I needed help . Finally rep # 3 sitting at a desk again by herself like the other two associates ignored me and my wife even though we were right in front of her showing a great deal of interest in an expensive entertainment center . So giving her the benefit of the doubt I approached her and asked if they deliver to our home town . She looked up and said they do have delivery people and then put her head back down and looked backed at her computer . Now I am sure 100% sure they believed we were in the wrong store based on the way we dressed . After three different times in the store with the same treatment every time I would have to assume they employ the worst salespeople on the planet or they need to realize that every customer should be treated with respect and made to feel comfortable . Your in egg harbor township for god sales not Rodeo Drive Beverly Hills where snobbery is more expected . For those of you that are looking for high end furniture do yourself a favor buy it from nice people not Surroundings . We saw three pieces we would have purchased totally about 22k according to the price tag , if only someone said hello .”

“Kensington is my favorite place to go and buy furniture especially on the weekends. Everyone is happy and very helpful. I can't really call their inventory "furniture" instead I consider them to be like "Masterpieces ", and I love it there ! At Kensington they carefully chose top quality items and it's such a good vibe. Top notch with customer satisfaction ! I'm in my early 30s and have furnished 85% of my home with them. Five years later and all my purchases still look and perform like Day one. The outlet upstairs is like a secret warehouse of surprises and deals. Come by anytime just to look and say hi ! Even the guys who help you load your car for pickups on pickup day are amazing and Big shout out to "AL" too. One day he helped me move something really heavy on a hot summer day and worked magic to make my things fit. Entire staff there go over and beyond and they don't think about it twice. Only one negative to say ...... they have too many good things and it's hard to leave hahaha. Yummy cookies and they know how to decorate ! You better go ! Forever a customer , they are a family brand who will treat you like family”

“My order was messed up by the sales women. We ordered two mattresses. We were told by the sales women if we didn’t like them we had 30 days to return. I went back the same day as the one mattresses was not the one we ordered. The manager informed me that there is no 30 day policy and that sales women would say anything to make a sale. The manager said he would honor what she said, reason I gave five stars. We had to wait a few weeks for the replacement, but we have it. The beds are nice and very good quality. The delivery people were excellent. Would I buy from them again? I don’t know, I don’t like that a sales person would say anything to sell me something, so probably not.”
