From the moment I walked in to the moment I checked out, every employee greeted me and asked if they could help me and were all so courteous! Very organized store with easy to find items! Well stocked! A bonus.. they were bbq’n and offering delicious sausage sandwiches to everyone for free! What a wonderful, old time business presence they have! This store is wonderfully managed!!

It's fine if you know exactly what you're looking for and they have it in stock. Avoid asking for help, they tried to sell me joint compound and epoxy in lieu of plumber grease, then told me abruptly to use vaseline? Every time I've asked for help finding something I've been looked at like I'm crazy for knowing what I'm looking for, customer service has been poor for as long as I've went there

After an exhaustive and unsuccessful online search for the right patio umbrella holder, we found the perfect one at ACE Hardware in Northfield. The staff were friendly and helpful, removing the item from the box to make sure it fit over our bistro table. The young man offered to carry it to our car. Great, old fashioned customer service!
