“Everything from the fudge and taffy down to the candy is amazing. Greeted by warm and friendly people who are willing to help and the prices are reasonable. We stop every year for fudge and taffy before making our trip home. Definitely recommended.”

“Even though I have lived in NJ my whole life and have taken my children to Wildwood many times, my youngest told me she had never tried fudge before! She asked to go to Laura's Fudge so she could get some. This candy shop has a great selection of boxed and loose chocolates and candy plus a very large assortment of fresh fudge. My daughter chose classic chocolate fudge, and her eyes lit up when she tried it. It is so smooth and buttery and fudgy! She loved it. We also purchased some other yummy assorted chocolates to sample. This is the perfect store to get fresh fudge for yourself or as a souvenir.”

“We like the fudge kitchen. It's a beach staple. The fudge is really good the taffy is decent. As most things down the shore it's actually an expensive place You can find better deals on the basic candy at other places. But you really go for the fudge.”

“Tucked away in an industrial complex at the Cape May Airport is this actual soap factory with a small retail space. It's here that they make amazing olive oil based soaps, shampoo bars, bath salts and sugar scrubs. They will slice off a piece of any soap you want at your request, any the sugar scrub bar is fun! The staff are pleasant and informative, though they gave me space to explore rather than hovering. Lastly, I met Gandalf the Multicolored Parrot, who said hello enthusiastically and also bye bye. The owner told me she was lonely at home and here she gets to chat with everyone. They have a retail space in downtown Cape May also. I always wonder if a product really is locally made - in the case of A Place on Earth it definitely is. I'll be back next time I'm in town.”

“Really great variety of chocolates and candy. We walked by, and the sweet smell lured us in. We purchased almond chocolates, which were really good along with nonpareils that were excellent. Some salt water taffy added a sweet twist to my palette. Although we enjoyed the chocolates and taffy, we couldn't ge over the price. We paid $13.95 for 1/2 pound of chocolate. Even though we had a sweet time, we sure did pay the price.”

“Fresh & hot food; Real chicken tenders (not the fake stuff) ; prompt and courteous staff. Candyland has every kind of candy on Earth. This place has all of your old favorites and some really cool novelty items too. We always get fudge and taffy for the fam❤ but, those Fried Oreos are the best of all! We've tried every other place and these guys always win. Ask for some extra sugar.”
