This bank doesn’t have respect for their neighbors. I’m 7 months pregnant and my husband and i just got back from the hospital (cause i had some pregnancy contractions) to visit my in laws. 15 minutes into our visit we found out the cleaning crew called the tow truck to tow our car and almost had it towed. We had to pay the tow truck company to let the car off the truck. Very disrespectful of the way they handle their neighbors. We weren’t doing anything illegal but just a visit to our family’s house to update them that i was okay.

This bank doesn’t have any respect for their neighbors. They’ll tow their cars even if they’re parked for five minutes with their pregnant wife in the house having a pain.

Let me start off by saying I do not take the time out to review businesses but this was a must. I had the pleasure to be paired up with Kevin at this location and received amazing costumer service. Every question was answered and every option for setting up a new account was explained. Patience and professionalism was through the ROOF! Thank you once again!

Went in this morning to discuss some options of opening a new bank account. Had the pleasure of meeting Kevin, one of their associates. He was such an amazing help, able to answer all of my questions and leave me with all the information needed to make an informed decision. Customer service skills were immaculate!

Unity Bank North Plainfield has been handling my non-profit business account(s) for approximately 10+ years now. Jonna and her team have been nothing short of amazing. Very attentive to all my needs and questions. I recommend this bank to everyone.

Excellent service! The best of any other banks.Ive barely had any issues there and if I did The manager there, I think her name is Jonna, handled it like a professional. And they treat me like respect.

I’m really disappointed with the decision that Unity Bank took over our Non Profit Organization, Our CHURCH had been banking with you for many many many years. How is possible to close and account with not acceptable reasons??? With out Valid explanations. No body deserves this!!!! This is un respectful and unacceptable.

This bank does not have a clear vision what a bank should be. They took money from people and what they decide to close and account for not a clear reason , just they do it. Time ago they did it to me , and now they closed the non-profit account businnes account of Medes church , which was active for decades. They don’t answer our questions but I can figure out that’s because we are an Hispanic church, or maybe cause we are cristians which case will be discrimination. What a disrespect to people. Cases like this would be punishment by American laws.

Really the commercial relations of this financial entity give a lot to talk about, due to the arbitrary way in which it treats customers. With excuses and meaningless mechanisms, just as they did with the closure of a church bank account and non-profit associations, I urge the community to manifest the abuses and record them through all digital media.

They sent a letter to my church’s account (MEDES in Plainfield, NJ) flagging it as “high risk” ahead of a message saying the account would be closed. The account has been active and stable for years, which means this message has no real precedent. I hope this issue is sorted out soon, for now I will leave this low rating.

This bank treats the smallest client as a big shot! Not sure why they saying they are rude and not good and also a horrible bank?!?! They probably did something they shouldn’t been doing. But just know this bank is amazing!!!!

Family has been banking here for decades and did not like the way we were just put on the chopping block after all these years of “banking relationship”. It is sad that this bank has fallen from taking care of customer that put so many key aspects of their lives and businesses into their bank. Really wish they would of handled this better and have been more understanding.

Been banking here for decades with most of my businesses. suddenly they chose to close my business bank account with no recorse. Sure i can find another bank but to me it feels like decades of banking and supposed relationship feels like a slap to the face. Unity should really value its long term customers especially if they have so many assets tied to their bank. Simply disappointing and disrespectful after so many years.

Made a visit to the Unity Bank in North Plainfield this morning with my Mom, who had some banking to do and to get something Notarized. Had the absolute pleasure of working with Paige Burwell. She could not have been more helpful and attentive. She went above and beyond to help and is everything you could possibly want in a valued employee. Thank you again Paige - not only are you well informed, you added that personal touch that you don't get these days when banking. Many thanks!!
