Visited The Skate Trap 7/3/23. It is my second time there after late last year. What a delight to find this store close to me. I’m an old- school quad8 roller skater. Couldn’t find any where within Middlesex, Union & Somerset to do what they do. They swapped out my wheel ball bearings, all 16. Particularly thank you to pro-shop worker Mr. Ivan. Mr. Ivan skillfully reseated bearings in 15 minutes.The shop, built primarily for skateboarder needs, has the goods and services for all type skaters including apparel and tools. Sit in climate-controlled comfort on a sofa, in an immaculate area and pick the staff’ brains. You will enjoy!

When you enter you can see that you are going to enter a skate shop but when you enter you may find surprises, the walls have a history and the people who work there are very cool.

Very chill creative spot. Definitely a place for skate necessities. They were extremely helpful with fixing my roller skates when no one else could. Also have an artsy surprise for the curious eye!

Great Store, Needed edition to the area.This was a really great addition to the town, having a skate shop in a walkable distance in the NP/Plainfield area has always been needed especially so close to the skatepark.The store has a good selection of decks with good graphics and any other skating needs. All of their clothes are great and its nice to see people out repping a local skate-shop. People there are always nice and will help with anything you need.This shop is a great thing for the community and skating in general around here. Would absolutely recommend if you’re in the area!
