I always had issues here starting from the purchase to issues after getting the vehicle service center will try to get over Martin is the only decent person to avoid everything bridgwater Nissan will treat you way better and not get over I have never returned here after what they did !!!

I brought my car in bc my airbag light was on. Diagnostic code indicated a bad sensor. The recommendation was not to address the bad sensor, it was to spend an additional 4 hours diagnosing the problem to the tune of $800. Confusing. One Star bc the person at the desk was courteous.

Never walked into a dealership on a Saturday afternoon and no one was there, including employees. Oh one guy walked out didn't say a word and sat down to watch soccer. Long story short after 2 days of dealing with a young, unprofessional, untrained salesman I was basically told they couldn't help me. Sales manager wouldn't see me...Total joke

My husband and i brought our 2019 Altima in julieann was amazing. She took the time to listen to me. My only issue was the receptionist who doesn’t speak much English. Trying to make an appointment with her is kind of hard.

Where to begin… I’ll start of by telling you not to waist your time bringing your car here for service and if you do, pray you don’t get Juliana as your service advisor unless you want to get taken advantage of and want to deal with her condescending attitude. Just skip buying a Nissan altogether. I have a 2020 (4 year old) car that 1. Makes a noise every time I hit a bump 2. Makes a noise everytime I reverse 3. makes a noise when I shift to drive. All said to be complete normal with the 2020 Rouges after my 7/8th trip to service to try n figure it out. Not to mention the fact my radio didn’t keep the correct time and the other issues it’s having. My radio said a different time every it I started the car, Juliana laughed at me told me I had to change the time on the steering while like I was an idiot . After that not working n having to return again they didn’t know what was wrong with it so she said I needed a new battery after telling me my battery wasn’t the issue prior to bringing my car in and that it was strange it couldn’t keep the time. I then took my car somewhere to check the battery. Lo and behold my battery was perfectly fine. She also told me I needed all new breaks after replacing them a month ago, once again because they didn’t know what the noise was. Maybe it’s because I’m a female n don’t know anything about cars is why she handled things the way she did also to mention I had my 9 month old baby with me… Woman to woman you’d think she’d try to help me out instead of taking advantage of me. George the service manager ended up taking over with Martin. Both were nice and tried to be helpful but regardless I’m left with a 4 year old car that sounds like a hoopty. This weekend I’ll be trading in my car at a different dealership for a different car make. If your still here do your self a favor n just avoid

My wife came in for an oil change, brake job and a battery. We were told the oil change was done, it was not, so we can in and Martin took care of the oil change for it. Great service rep

The reason I marked "below expectations" was not only because of a $4000 difference in price from a transmission repair shop, for exact same transmission, but mainly because the true root of the broken transmission was not addressed. Had I agreed to get my transmission replaced here, I would likely be back with same issue because they did not identify that the transmission cooling system was broken. The cooling system failing is what led to my transmission failing in the first place. The dealership was going to charge me for a new transmission, with an astronomical labor charge, only to have the same problem happen all over again since they did not see that the cooling system was broken. I paid $4000 LESS at a transmission repair shop, for the exact same transmission, same warranty, same certified programming PLUS a new cooling system for the transmission. That's a huge difference! I still don't understand why there was such a huge difference in price for the same transmission (there is no aftermarket for this particular transmission, the shop had to order a transmission FROM NISSAN) and that wasn't even including the labor to replace the cooling system. I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but this dealership really tried to screw me over with labor pricing, all while not truly investigating why transmission went in the first place. Never bringing my car here again.
I gave an extra star because the receptionist has good customer service skills. She at least can perform her job well, and is not to blame for the horrible labor fees.

Nissan of North Plainfield you are honored to have Martin as your service advisor. Martin represents pure class, dignity, intelligence humbleness, knows the business of dealership service.
I have had the most wonderful experience as a customer and as an observer. Martin seems to be the go-to person in the service area by the employees seeking his knowledge. Martin is a class act all the way.
Martin deserves a bonus and/ or salary increase - a real increase in pay.
