Very unpleasant experience. Even I bought 2 cars from them, When I asked for help, all came to their mind is money first. Then I went Genesis of Freehold for help, they helped me and done that very quickly. I will never go this place again.

I have nothing but problems with this service center. All started in May. Had a leak on the passenger side when it rained. Had to wait to get an appointment for the repair and finally leak stopped. About two months later the sunroof started to leak when ever it rained. They said it was the drains in the roof and that should solve the problem Rained again and had a puddle on drivers side again. Brought my GV80 in again. They said it was the gasket. They ordered gasket. Took two weeks to be delivered. Brought vehicle in again. They took apart the sunroof and realized they didn’t get a gasket. The car stayed at the service center for two weeks They gave me a loaner and took it back two days later due to a change of ownership. Finally got my truck back and saw that there were 3-4 ceiling clips missing. They ordered a new set. Went there today 11-14-2023. When tech tried to install he realized they weren’t the correct ones. Have to reorder. It takes me an hour to get there plus tolls and gas. I come from Staten Island. Very dissatisfied customer

I have owned many luxury cars over the years. The Sales and Services at Genesis of North Plainfield do not meet the luxury car standards. I love My GV80, but next time I will be looking at another brand that treat their clients in a more professional manner. Genesis really needs to improve the way their dealers handle the customer the experience if they want to compete in the luxury car market.

Don't worry about hard sales here. My wife and I just stopped by and not a single person said hello. After looking at a few cars in the showroom, sitting in said cars, then walking the lot, we returned back to the showroom. We didn't want to disturb the sales associate on his cell phone, so we left.

Takes a month to schedule a maintenance appointment. If you have any questions, they promise to call back, but never do… the people working there are nice and I believe they are trying and working hard, but poorly managed and no processes in place. Genesis should do better

I have no comment on their sales because I bought elsewhere but as far as service it leaves to be desired. At my last oil change, the dealership called me to tell me I need brakes and rotters and quoted me $2,900 for the job. Thinking it was high I brought the car to Goodyear. They examined the car to tell me that I didn't need any service whatsoever and had plenty of life left on my brake pads.

Service Manager Hugo was amazing and very professional. I came in without an appointment for a tire emergency and he was very kind to allow me to get it fixed in a reasonable amount of time.

Great experience at Global Genesis. Julio was awesome - extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. I think Genesis makes the best-looking cars and SUVs - so well rounded inside and out - we looked at a number of other options but kept going back to the Genesis. I’ll definitely continue to be a customer going forward.

Julio was great. He really helped us find a car we feel good about. It was a great experience buying from the moment we walked onto the lot. A huge contrast to a bad experience at Audi the last time we bought a car.

Terrible service should have learned my lesson the first time I had a problem with the service department. 3rd time I finally learn my lesson. Slow leak in tire and service advisor Will told me not there problem it's mine. Service manager Hugo told me to check the neighborhood to see if kids are letting air out of the tires.

Great option if you want to bypass other dealerships who try to rip you off or the service sucks or they're just awful all around. Majority good experiences whenever I have gone to Global to get my car serviced. Nick in the service department is consistent in offering wonderful service. The only down side is if you need something specific done on your car they'd have to contact the dealer to order parts or whatever else comes with that. Otherwise, great place to consider! Reasonable costs and nice people. They also offer fruit, bagels, etc while you're waiting. Nice touch!
