I usually like this place. Evelyn, who did my pedicure , was wonderful . I was then taken to Gina for nails. She was extremely rude. She didn't say 1 word and was rushing through the manicure. I asked her if she was in a rush , because I come there to relax , after a full day of work. She said she wasn't . If I hadn't paid her in full for all of my services , I would have left without doing eyebrows , my final service . When she did do my eyebrows, she was extremely rough , and didn't even do them correctly. She, instead , kept moving my face from left to right in a very rough manner. Another customer sitting near me in the drying area told me she is very nasty. I have been going to nail salons for 30 years and NEVER have I ever been treated this way . Last visit to this salon for me.

UPDATE*** It's been 6 days and my nails are already chipping at the top where the gel polish didn't cover. Gel typically lasts me at least two weeks from other places. I work an office job so not really doing much with my hands that would have caused this ---------------------------- I thought this place was just average. The staff was friendly, the gentleman that runs the place was so nice. But I didn't find it that hygienic. All of the files that were used on me were clearly already used in other people. Also after filing my nails they didn't wipe off the nail filings from my hands so she did the entire manicure with my hands covered in nail filings. They did not paint my nails all the way to the tips of my fingers so you can see the whites at the top. Will have to file that down otherwise it just looks like it's already chipping and I just got them done today. They also aren't shiny and look kind of dull. I'm also pretty sure they ripped me off. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. I had a gift certificate for a regular manicure and pedicure, and I asked if I can pay the difference and i still owed $30. On their Facebook page it says a gel manicure is $35 and a regular manicure is $15. Even if they raised their prices, a $30 difference seems like a lot.

I came to Paradise Nails about a month ago. I had a pedicure and manicure done. I thought I would give it a try since it's close to home. I had my nails done by Jane, I was not happy with them as she left one of my nails crooked and made me bleed. You believe I came back to this place again last week, thinking maybe I would have someone different. The pedicure I had done was awesome, the problem I had was that Jane kept micromanaging the girl that was doing my pedicure. With my luck Jane did manicure, OMG!!!! I was there for 2 and half hours. While she is doing my nails she is micromanaging everyone instead of focusing on my nails. Again with crooked nails, I complained and she just doesn't get it. Not coming back, going back to my old place.. Nails For You... Crooked Nails in North Haledon!!! Jane stop micromanaging your employees!!!

Sad to say this place is not what it used to be… been coming for years and after horrible experience today I will not be returning. I had a pedicure with a person that did not know a thing about them.Didn’t know how to cut nails, no soaking, no callus filing , massage, etc. she did however burn me with the hot stones but that was about it for the hot stonesFinally owner came over and literally waved her away and polished My toes.Still charged me full price too!!!So long paradise nails!!Service: Pedicure

These were supposed to be mega volume eyelashes. I paid $70 and they are not even properly applied. It doesn't look like I even have lashes on. Idk if the girl was even certified or not. Honestly disappointed as this was getting done for a vacation.

I made an appointment to get my nails done here and I specifically ask for one of the nail techs which I was recommended to by a friend. Considering it was my first time here I did not know who she was. As soon as I have arrived I wasn't asked my name, or who I was here for, I was rushed in one of the chairs. I did let them know I had an appointment. I got a complete different nail tech, no she did not have a name tag or anything. I did not realize until the other nail tech came from the back and sat next to us. By that time it was to late to say anything cause I was half way through my nails. The lady that did my nails, her work lasted me 3 days it was poorly done, not done correctly at all. For the amount I paid I am furious. Never going here again.

I received a gift card from this place for Christmas. It was for a free pedicure. I went to use it today and was charged 18.00.
I told her she forgot to put in the gift card that was given to me by them and she said pedicure went up to 30.00 now and this card was only for 15.00. What a scam. The extra charge was for nail polish.
I will never go back.
Thanks for getting back to me with a response, but it doesn’t make any sense. If your saying it went up 5.00, that should have been what I was charged. However, I was charged 18.00 for a basic pedicure. The gift card should never state that it’s for a pedicure. It should say 15.00 gift towards service.

Only giving it 4 stars because I was already on my way to get my nails done but saw they were opened Sunday and got a gel pedicure.. let me tell you the staff was so friendly very clean and relaxing environment will definitely recommend and be coming back ‼️
