I had my hair colored by Nicolette L. and besides having an amazing experience and fantastic service, as I waited, she showed me a sparkle make-up that i've been searching for and I love it! She is super friendly and helpful! How talented she is, after blow drying my hair out, I left there feeling like a model!

Came to this location for a cut & blowout! Nicolette was so professional and welcoming and made me feel fabulous! The salon manager Lindsay was also extremely accommodating and personable. I’m sure, being at the back of the store, many people pass up the salon, but I’d highly highly recommend! Very professional and highly skilled!
The entire store staff is always so helpful and welcoming when I come to this location. I’ve been to quite a few Ultas and Im glad this one is my home store!

I went to Ulta and got my hair done by Nicolette and absolutely loved it! I’m very picky when it comes to people doing my hair and Nicolette is someone I completely trust! Nicolette is very attentive and listens to her clients and what they want. I’ve had the best experience with her and feel so comfortable with her. She is very professional and makes me feel heard. I definitely recommend Nicolette!

I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with the service my daughter and I received at your 875US-1, North Brunswick, Nj 08902 on 09/08/2024, specifically involving an employee named (( Lindsay )).
This morning, we visited the store to purchase a hair straightener. While we were checking out different brands, Lindsay approached us and offered assistance. She recommended a specific brand of straightener and even offered to demonstrate it on my daughter’s hair. Unfortunately, during the demonstration, my daughter expressed feeling a burning sensation on her forehead, to which Lindsay casually responded, “That’s okay.” After Lindsay finished and left, I was horrified to discover a visible and serious burn on my daughter’s forehead.
When I asked Lindsay for a burn ointment to prevent the burn from worsening, she claimed the store had nothing suitable for burns. Her dismissive attitude and complete lack of empathy made the situation even worse. Lindsay did not show any remorse or concern, despite clearly being responsible for the injury.
This level of carelessness and negligence is unacceptable, especially in a store that should prioritize customer safety and well-being. I have already contacted customer service to file an official complaint, but I wanted to provide further detail about the incident. Attached are pictures of the burn caused by the improper use of the straightener by your employee
I expect prompt action to address this issue and I would also appreciate information about what steps will be taken to prevent this from happening to others in the future.

I always loved this ulta! The staff is always so helpful and attentive. I get greeted every time I walk in. With that being said, there is one particular staff member who made me feel not so great a few months ago. I don’t remember her name but I was looking at the self tanning products when I had seen her and asked for some help as I’m not super familiar with self tanning and I had a trip coming up. The way she spoke to me was very condescending. She made me feel stupid and like I was annoying her. It really bothered me so I left without making a purchase. I still shop at this Ulta but I definitely don’t go as often because I don’t want to deal with that again.

Nice perfume shop. Unfortunately, we did not find Jean-Paul Gaultier's men's perfume in it, but we were offered Paco Rabanne, which our friend liked. A very kind seller helped us. For one I bought my favorite Gucci Flora Gardenia perfume.

I absolutely love this location. It's unusual to not be greeted when entering - normally someone always asks if I need help finding something. They've helped me with everything from a specific items to vague requests (I once asked for a red lipstick that would make me finally love red lipstick when I always found something I didn’t like about it... and they found 2 different options that I wear almost daily now).Criss in the salon is the absolute best. I switched from a stylist in another location for her and it was the best decision ever. She's been dyeing my hair different colors for months now and is a literally miracle worker. I can bring her inspiration pictures and end up with exact color matches or (my favorite) give her creative control and walk out with stunning colors! She takes great care to protect my hair too with lightening it - it never feels damaged even with monthly color changes. It's so much fun to work with her. Fashion colors can take a while but she doesn't rush it. We end up talking the entire appointment about just about everything and she is hysterical too.

This is the second time I have had a bad experience with this store and manager. It doesn’t state that after a certain time they don’t do in-store pick up and they don’t honor the wrongs of where they place the sale signs.. the manager is rude she isn’t helpful at all and doesn’t even try to accommodate the customers.

I got my hair done by Nicolette and she had done a great job. I went from having blue green hair that was box dyed to a beautiful balayage. She helped me pick out the right shade of blonde that will compliment my skin tone. She was so kind and made me feel so beautiful and confident! If you are looking to get your hair done I definitely recommend booking with Nicolette!
