No one knows where the products are. They don’t look up but just state they don’t have the item. My husband is there now looking for boboli pizza crust which is also on their website and they claim they don’t know what it is. Good grief. Time to shop elsewhere

Twice this month, I inadvertently purchased expired food items from ShopRite in North Brunswick—one was a packaged fresh food item from the produce section that was two weeks expired, and another was a pantry item that was THREE MONTHS expired. When I went back this afternoon to return my most recent expired purchase, the customer in front of me was also there to return expired food...
According to other recent Google reviews, this has been a common occurrence in recent weeks. Please use caution when shopping there and be sure to hang onto your receipt for returns.

Store is always dirty. Fruits are spoiling. And meat is horrible. This location is the worse. The Monmouth store is way better.

I've been shopping here for years and this store has gone so down hill. The produce is spoiled and moldy. The bread molds and is already close to the sell by date on the shelf. I purchased coke products and realized they tasted off. Looked at the date and they were from April and June when I purchased them in July. So how long is this stuff sitting there?? I just went Monday and the chips already have best by dates of July and August. They should last much longer than that. I already purchased so much food that was just wasted. I had a chip bag in my cart that was cut opened and luckily I realized it before I left the store. There's always an issue at the deli. Pickup orders aren't even made on time when I ordered 3 hours prior, or theyre wrong. I won't buy the milk here anymore as I got one that was spoiled when I opened it. These products move fast there's no reason to have expired and almost expired food on the shelf.

Just moved to the area so i just started going there a few months ago. Most of the time, I tend to find what I'm looking for. Very clean environment. My issue is the man who happens to be a minority individual that manages the carts outside. It seems he always prefers to greet the white customers and hand them carts for shopping. Perhaps he can benefit from implicit bias training!

You need to change the settings on door dash, it’s making the dasher wait to arrive because they think ShopRite workers are picking up the items. It took 2.5 hours to get a couple items

It's the closest shop rite near us but honestly I won't be going here anymore. At the self check out line we were watched very closely and honestly I felt disappointed. Mainly because as soon as my husband and I finished and walked away, the employees dispersed. Please understand, just because I'm a POC does not mean I'll steal. I know not all the employees think this was, but I heard the female employee tell the other to watch our so closely.
