I was in a motor vehicle accident a few years ago on Rte 1. The police officer said he had to call Jay's to tow it as it was the closest to the accident and he had to get tge car off Rte 1 asap. The car was already on its way to Jay's before my husband arrived at the accident scene, but since we don't live in North Brunswick, we drove to Jay's directly and had the car towed to Hillsborough within a couple of hours. The only thing I remember is Jay's overcharged for the tow and they were very rude to speak with.Fast forward to yesterday when we tried to renew our registration and DMV informed us our car was reported as abandoned in North Brunswick and is blocked from DMV services. We had to contact the North Brunswick police who traced the report back to Jay's who claims we abandoned it there and it went to auction. WTH? It's our daily driver and has been sitting in our garage at our house. Now the police have to waste time investigating, our car is illegal to drive - what a headache! Carelessness on Jay's side is the only thing to blame here, but I'm sure he won't pay for impound fees if we get pulled over before this mess is straightened out. Just be wary.

I would definitely recommend Jays Recovery Service for all your towing needs. My vehicle broke down in the middle of the night on route 1 and they came very quickly. The driver, Joe did an amazing job loading my car without any damages and was very professional and knew what he was doing. I would highly recommend calling them for all your towing needs.

My brother got his car towed for a bad registration.Went to the place to get my brothers car the next day and they charged us for three days. Nearly 500 dollars. Charged an administrative fee that wasnt even on the receipt, it was just written down on a piece of paper. 35 extra dollars on to. Meanwhile, the owner was playing with a cop car because he is friends with the local police department who we believe they toss a little extra cash to for tows.Located nicely in an alley.

I would rate this business a Zero, they are EXTREMLY unprofessional, they steal items of any value out of your car and deny it, they will do damage to your vehicle and will not take responsibility or fix it. Avoid this place at all cost.
