I had a very good experience with Hertz I want to thank Josh for being so helpful excellent customer service and getting the car I wanted and for taking the time to teach me how to use properly the Tesla since is my first time using electric car, the car works very Good it’s very comfortable love the technology and security very smooth car I’m a Uber Driver so cheaper than gas Thanks Josh for your help God Bless you! Him and his team are very helpful Thanks

The deal was horrible, my husband had to go and deliver the car, for the reason that I work very far away, and they wanted to charge him more and even HERTZ told my insurer that my husband wanted to extend the rent for more days. When my husband only took the vehicle to hertz to finalize the rental with them. So, what kind of character does that? I really think it’s also unfair that they wanted to charge him 350 dollars more...

Scammers. Always adding charges during and after the rental contract is over. When you argue the numbers they admit and say it was a mistake.

Charged for fuel even though I filled gas just before returning. There is no option on the IVR to speak to someone. Rest of the experience was good.

Trash.One of the reps (yes, he’s a POC) talks to people with ZERO respect and has poor situational observation skills and decorum.How is someone like that working there and helping to provide a service to the public?Some of the reps need to be mindful as to who they’re engaging with at all times.It’s a business based on the consumer and the consumer is who is keeping that place in business.This doesn’t mean the customer is always right; however, it is pointing out that not everyone is meant to be in a field that is customer facing.This location needs to do a better job of who they hire.One time might be a mistake but clearly this is a pattern of behavior, that gentleman that they hired sitting at that desk today should NOT be working there.Who is in charge there?

Darrel B Accused me of smoking in the car and saying there’s ash/ marijuana all over the vehicle yet the vehicle was left spotless when I handed it back ( didn’t even have the vehicle for 24 hours) In fact during my pre inspection of vehicle before driving off the lot , I even found evidence of tobacco product in arm rest storage which I photographed below and yes this is how they left me the car after they apparently “ cleaned” it. I’m not sure if there trying to set me up but please be aware of this. I am stuck paying a ridiculous smoking fee. I have never smoked anything in my life.. BE AWARE!!! And do a pre inspection with pictures / document before and after dropping car off. Possibly a money grab going on. I will even do a drug test to prove it. Insane.

Rented a car from the 9th- 13th had great customer service both days, and no issue with the car. Was worried when I saw these reviews but didn’t experience any of it. Everything was ready and went smooth from the jump.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. HORRIBLE customer service. I called on and off for days in advance. They would answer and leave me on hold for more than an hour wasting my time. When I would finally get through to actually speak to them they told me to call day of to give them an address where they could pick me up to get my rental; wouldn’t even answer the phone. Luckily Britland Auto Body helped my out and saved me from this nightmare of a place. ENTERPRISE will go much smoother for y’all. Got a ride less than 10mins later. Enterprise called me themselves to confirm and ask me the service I needed and how soon. Save yourself the additional unnecessary stress from a place who’s suppose to help but won’t actually be helpful. Enterprise won’t have you chasing them for a simple conversation.

I will not be using hertz again. I was advised from the auto repair shop to give hertz a call at least a month in advance to reserve a car. I called twice in one month to confirm and when I showed up the exact date and time , they said they canceled it due to “too long of a time with no contact” I called a week prior . They claimed they called me but never did I see a call from “hertz” or receive a voicemail telling me my appointment has been arbitrarily canceled. I had to contact State Farm to get another reservation and when they finally said they had a car they gave me a sedan when I was supposed to receive a SUV which would be most similar to my car. After driving the sedan for two days, one in the rain, I immediately felt unsafe due to the fact the windshield wipers barely worked. It was so blurry to see while driving and immediately requested a better car. I called on a Thursday afternoon to request for pickup on Saturday morning. The north Brunswick employee said I had to call again the next day Friday to reserve the car. I just don’t understand why I have to continuously call for them to keep my appointment. Also when I walked in their office at the first time there was no one around and I waited in the empty office for ten minutes.

I booked a car in advance, however they canceled my reservation one hour before I picked up the car.I was on my way to a very important business meeting, which was canceled because I could not pick up the car.They did not even try to find me another solution.Moreover, they charge me $61 for no show!!!
