This review is based on the checkout experience. I tried to make a return for a beauty product that I bought a few months back. The woman "helping" me made me feel guilty and felt like I was being questioned. I spoke to a manager who was quick to help me (earning the extra star) but I brought up that there is a guarantee of satisfaction on the cvs website whether opened or not. Seems like the people working there need to be further trained. I'll only go back to this cvs if in dire need.

Estella Rodriguez-Carbrera, manager in North Brunswick NJ went above and beyond to pick up a medication I needed at a store over 30 minutes away, and had it for me first thing the next morning.\\nIt was the most kind reaction to my needs, and I will always remember her incredible dedication to her customers.

I've been here twice, first for my booster shot and second for my father-in-law's health checkup at the clinic. Both the times we have had pleasant experience at the pharmacy and from our interactions with the different staff. The shop is also well maintained and has a lot of varieties to their inventory typical of a Target or Walmart and provides a wholesome experience. The parking is humongous and the pharmacy is placed in a well connected neighborhood.

This specific cvs is so terrible . Omg to call to transfer my prescriptions and they hung up on me after a long wait . Said nothing . And all you hear is the dial to tell me that they are not on the phone . I call again & have been on the phone for about 30 min holding for a pharmacist. I sent my partner there physically and they weren't even doing anything ! Just hanging around ! He let them know I was calling. And they said they didn't get a call meanwhile he can physically see the ohone ringing with other callers . Its giving real ghetto and unprofessional

This review is specifically for their drive-thru. I came her for my covid test. I wasn't sure what to expect. But everything was simple and quick. There was only one car ahead of me when I went. When it was my turn, there pharmacist gave me the testing kits and walked me through all the steps. I done in 5-7minutes. It was super easy and I didn't have to get out of my car.

Went to get a flu shot, NONE of the nurses/pharmacists were wearing masks. One pharmacist came over to help me and put her mask on, the others saw me right there and left them off. Why are healthcare professionals not wearing masks? Never coming back to this location because if I can't trust the staff to take as simple a precaution as wear a mask, I can't trust that they're washing their hands or otherwise being sanitary while they give shots, handle medication, etc.

I used to use this pharmacy about ~2 years ago, and only for a few prescriptions. Color me surprised that they are now commandeering my prescriptions from another CVS?? Recently, out of nowhere, they have been transferring prescriptions from my regular CVS in Hackensack (which is about an hour north) to their pharmacy. I have no idea what they are doing, but it's happened three times in the last month. I've confirmed with the Hackensack location that there was no request made to transfer the Rxs, and they are as confused as I am as to how this CVS acquired them. When I called this CVS to get it fixed, they say my prescriptions are "recurring" so they automatically get refilled at this location. For starters, 2 of the Rxs are not recurring. Secondly, the one Rx that is recurring was only given to me a few months ago, and has always been filled at the Hackensack location. How does it make sense that it randomly goes to you? Anyway, this location said they transferred everything back to the Hackensack location, which they didn't. I had a mess this morning trying to sort it out. Based on talking to other customers, it sounds like this location has organizational troubles and is not honest about fixing them.

I took a prescription in and they said it would be ready in an hour. I sent my brother to pick it up 3 hours later since I've previously had delays before on different occasions. They had extra time to prepare it and they still told him they needed 15 more minutes. He went back after 20 minutes and then told him the prescription has a date for the next day and therefore, they can't give it to him. After finally waiting a day, my brother goes to pick it up and brings it to me, just to find out they screwed up and didn't add the 1 refill option that was clearly written on the prescription. I went back and spoke to the manager and was able to have the problem fixed but it's very inconvenient and annoying having to go back and forth multiple times. I believe the pharmacists should double check the prescription at drop off and tell the customer everything, accurately and on the spot, not lie to them and have them coming and going multiple times without their medication. After my refill, I won't be returning to this pharmacy.
