If you want to use this moving company because they are cheap. DON'T! These people will tell you a cheap price, then take note on how many things you have and purposely make it wrong so they can charge you even more. So if they told you $800, be prepared to pay over $2000. They shout at customers like they aren't prone to being sued. Just stick with bigger brands like UHaul, they'll do their job well. Once again DO NOT GO WITH DUMBO, it says it all in their name.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Terrible experience which they didn’t show when scheduled, didn’t notify me of the delay until I CALLED THEM. Refused to offer any compensation beyond 50$ off even though my partner had to miss an entire shift trying to reschedule. Rude, unkind, and uncaring. AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU

The worst moving company I’ve ever experienced! Please DO NOT BOOK THEM !!!!! , they canceled on me 4 times !!!, it was very unprofessional & always had an excuse. Very delayed, they are super mean over the phone, I was supposed to be paying a discounted price due to all the inconvenience they had, & I still ended up over paying. They force you to tip over $100 if you don’t, they will not stop bothering you…., I’ve kept contact with them for two weeks to make sure I was hiring the right company, I let them know exactly what I needed they told me no worries, when they get to my location I had to pay an extra fee to take my tv off a wall because I am a woman and couldn’t do it myself … Save yourself the trouble & DONT BOOK WITH THEM!! They are TERRIBLE PEOPLE, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL & don’t care about their customers AT ALL !!!! .

My experience with Dumbo Moving company was deeply unsatisfactory. Despite my attempt to cancel, I was forced to proceed with the move under threat of additional fees. The movers were not only unprofessional but also caused damage to my previous home and neglected to transport my refrigerator. Additionally, they pressured me into tipping them for their subpar service, and their explanations about the services provided were lacking. Despite being promised a discounted rate, I was charged $800, with no compensation offered for the inconvenience. Suffice it to say, I would give them 0 stars for this abysmal experience. Overall, I strongly advise against using their services.

Scammers!! Do t use this company ! They contract you for a certain amount then they tell you you need to pay $500 more if you want them to finish the job! I contracted them for 75 boxes and they only took 35!! I had to move the rest of the stuff myself! Them they wouldn’t unpack the truck till I gave them $260 cash! They are scams!!

Disappointing to see how this company has declined in service. I used them to move in NYC years ago but this time the experience was much worse. The moving team didn’t wrap an antique table we were moving and damaged it while taking it out of the house then tried to tell us the damage was already there. You’re better off going with another moving company that will take care of your property while moving.

They damaged our expensive high end solid wood table and tried to tell us that the scratches had been there before. Their claims were completely false because protecting our table was one of the main reasons we went with professionals. They also refused to make the situation right when we emailed them about the damage. They gave us a small check which wouldn’t cover the damage. If you’re from nj do not use them.

We recently worked with George at Dumbo Moving & Storage to set up a move from New Jersey to Pennsylvania. George was a pleasure to work with, very professional and extremely helpful. The quote he gave for the move was very competitive. We had to make some changes on the date and the location a few times and George was very accommodating. I highly recommend talking to George if you are planning a move!

I got the opportunity to hire these movers for my shifting; I had to relocate urgently on a day's notice and had a lot of stuff and furnishings to drag along. At this very moment, I couldn't surf or explore for any mover company. I asked my friends to come over and help, but they were all occupied with their work. Thanks to one of my fast friends who told me about these movers and gave me their contact and details. In less than an hour, these gentlemen were at my doorstep. They had all the necessary equipment for getting the whole thing done and dusted. These Movers deserve the world, they knew I was in dire need of their assistance and would agree to pay extra, but they gave a fair quote for their exceptional help and support.

I was so relieved when I hired these lads for my move. These fellas were like robots who knew every bit of the move. They handled all my heavy and light furnishings with care and thorough attention to detail. I had a house filled with furnishings, appliances, and delicate décor, which had to be moved and shifted to the new apartment safely and securely. Charles and the crew led by him wrapped every item like true professionals. I was served with an affordable moving facility and an on-time work completion facility. I heartily endorse this company and their moving services to all.

Dusan and Maria (crew 049) were incredible in every way. They showed up on time, and moved with such efficiency that it took so much less time than I thought it would take. You can definitely tell they are professionals and work so hard to ensure everything is moved safely. I would trust them with anything that I owned. I'm truly shocked at how easy this process was, as moving is usually quite stressful for me. I paid exactly the same amount as I was quoted, which was much lower than other companies that I requested a quite from.Thank you so much to Dusan and Maria for taking such good care of my items and for being such lovely people to chat with! Will definitely move with Dumbo Moving again next time.
