Update : Someone called me and resolved the problem on the phone. I do not have her name . She was very nice and understanding. I purchased Colonna shredded Romano cheese 5 oz at shoprite in Bensalem Pa, which is where I always purchase it. Best by date is May 02, 2024. When I opened it on January 1, 2024 it was hard like dry rice. I called the office on January 2 and left a message but no one called back. It didn't say office was closed. Thank you

Bought one of your bread crumbs from ShopRite, opened the container and it was only half full. Wouldn’t buy again. Totally got jipped.The worst part of your company seems to be the fact that you only reply to good reviews and don’t make a mends for the bad ones. It shows how your company is ran and the people you are. How do you plan to have continually customers and a good reputation if you don’t make an effort to correct yourselves?What a disappointment.

I purchased this Parmesan and Romano grated cheese several months ago. It wasn't in the refrigerated section, so I thought nothing of simply storing the unopened container in a kitchen cabinet.I opened it today to discover the contents had turned the color of brown sugar, and had a rancid odor also. I looked for the "best by" date, which was 9/15/2023. Granted, that was 2.5 months ago, but who expects a product to turn rancid when it's just past its "best by" (not 'use by' or 'discard by') date?To make matters worse, but to Colonna's credit, the label does say "refrigerate after purchasing", NOT after "opening", which is what most people would expect.Now, to clarify, I DID call Colonna and spoke with a lovely young lady, who, rightly, pointed out that the product WAS past its "use by" (it actually says "best by" which is different) date and hadn't been refrigerated after purchasing it. I simply wanted to say that 1) refrigerating a shelf stable product BEFORE opening is unusual and can easily be overlooked without carefully reading the label, and 2) I never expected a product to be literally rancid a mere 2.5 months after the best by date. I said that I expect the product to be replaced, and while no promises were made, I did ask her to pass along my complaint along with my name, address and phone number, which she cheerfully did.However, while I await a response, I think it's important that others understand that this grated cheese MUST be refrigerated AFTER PURCHASING, and not after opening. I found out the hard way. Maybe this will save you the same trouble in the future!

Do not appreciate being used. When shoprite stopped selling your sauces, you pleaded with us to call and get sauces back on shelves.it worked. Only to find out, once you depleted your stock, you got what you wanted and laughed all the way to the bank and stopped making. I longer buy any of your other products I always bought from Colonna.

I love these panko bread crumbs. However, I just opened this can and it’s only half full. I understand that things settle after they are packaged, but this is ridiculous.
