I always take my Volkswagen here for servicing. They are normally accommodating to get me in promptly for service and offer drop off or pick up. Anthony took care of me this weekend and Nelson! Those guys are great! Jennifer delivers excellent customer service every time!

Let me start by saying I’ve been a VW customer for the better part of 16 years. VW of newton has been by far the worse experience I have ever had with a dealership on so many levels.
To start, when I was initially shopping for my vehicle, the sales rep lied and told me the atlas in the trim I was looking at had lane assist. It was a feature I specifically wanted, as I had it in my previous car and loved it. I also asked her what features the trim above had and she replied something along the lines of “basically interior cabin lighting and better speakers”. She clearly didn’t know what she was selling. On the drive home, I realized it in fact did not have lane assist. When I called, she indicated there was nothing they could do besides switch for the higher trim - but charge me much more.
At my first service, when no one was waiting but me, I was there for over two hours waiting for a basic service with a newborn and my car was returned scratched - they did not tell me it happened either.
Within a few months of having the car it started having issues - the ABS was locking up (very dangerous) and it was very jumpy in low gear. So I made a follow up appointment to have this looked at. I live an hour away, and drove there on my day off with my children to drop it off. When I got there, they told me no one could work on it because they didn’t have technicians that could help me - no one called me to tell me this beforehand. The woman who told me this was completely unapologetic and rude.
Today, was the last straw for me. I’ve had an appointment for servicing for weeks. Even got a confirmation call the day prior on this appointment. The woman who called to schedule it offered me a loaner as she said it could be a few hours so I wouldn’t have to wait there while it was being done. The woman (Meagan) who signed me in said she would call when it was done. I dropped the car off at 12 and called at 4 (no answer) to see where they were at. When I finally heard from her at 4:30 she said they hadn’t began working on it as she “assumed” since I had a loaner I didn’t need my car back that day and could come get it on Monday. I asked why she wouldn’t have called me to tell me this prior as I work during their business hours Monday - Friday and wouldn’t be able to do that. I had to take my car back with no service done. She was nothing but rude to me and took absolutely no accountability and showed 0 empathy for the situation. This is now the second time I drove 2 hours out of my way with two children on a Saturday only for my car to not be worked on - I never even got so much as a sorry, or any kind of “we will make sure when you come back we make sure this gets taken care of for you”. I am absolutely disgusted by the way I have been treated.

I was very impressed with the level of service from the moment that you park your car inside of this building by the service department. Jennifer Melendez was professional and friendly. I went for my 10k service, my car was done under an hour. I would probably consider buying my next car at Volkswagen World of Newton.

Anthony, Vito & Bill really worked as a team and did everything they could to make the car buying experience as smooth and painless as possible. As a REALTOR I really appreciate it when I have a positive customer service experience. These gentleman didn’t make me feel like a customer, they treated me with kindness, respect & made me feel like a friend rather than a customer. If you are in the market for a new car or suv, go to Newton VW and ask for Anthony, Vito or Bill, you will not regret it.

Quick acknowledgement of my presence and willingness to help. Very personable staff- felt like you’re having a conversation with an acquaintance and was greeted by staff other than just the person helping me. Nothing was pushed on me while there for my car’s service (as a female this happens a lot, but as a female who is car savvy and has a modified car, it’s greatly appreciated when it DOESNT happen). Anthony also honored a past quote for me without me asking despite me receiving a quote recently that was $200 more-which is what I was prepared for-so that was a very much appreciated surprise! Not my first time here but I’m always in awe of the new building. It’s modern, bright, clean, and very appealing to the eye.
