Parking absolutely sucks. Store is always always jam packed with customers. Shop Rite just won't spend the money to expand this small store that supplies groceries to many people in the area.

Parking a little better. It seems fewer people shopping here. May be because there is a Weiss store being best choice for ample parking and a gas station with gas discounts. Too bad we mlss Shop Rite choice and values.

Friendly checkout staff. Only a few issues are the timeout at self check is ridiculous. Cannot properly place items in bags with "Do You Wish to Continue " promps. Items on top shelves not only difficult to reach but not push forward when the first couple at the end are sold.

Actually had a positive experience. Found a ScanRite and got free cereal! Check the shelf tags folks, get it free if there's a mistake! Call them out on it!

So rather than hire more staff to adequately take care of your departments, you're now bringing in premade "airport" sandwiches? Stay classy DJ Romano. "Oh but we're trying to hire!"
Pay a livable wage and people will come and work for you.
Update 3/4/23
Went into the store at 8:45 am this morning and there wasn't a single sandwich in the sandwich case. If you still had a staff, perhaps you could bring more than one sandwich person in at 6am. Time for a WholeFoods or Wegmans to open up.
Sinking fast. Shelves empty again. Going down hill. Probably gonna have to shop else where. Literally everytime I come here now there's something I need that they don't have.

Excellent produce, typical large supermarket overall.
Feels very cramped as a result of the layout and the large shipping carts.
High quality (although often more expensive) seafood and beef.
For best results you'll want to use the application for the e-coupons which are a completely different coupon system than your rewards card.
Rewards for ShopRite only apply toward purchases made at ShopRite. (While others give you credit towards gasoline price reduction with participating gas stations)
Overall, ShopRite is competitive, feels crowded to me, you need to use a quarter to access shopping carts (you get it back when you return the cart, but if you have no quarter, you get no cart)
I generally prefer other supermarkets, but so like the quality of their produce, meats and seafood

Much better than shop rites in Brooklyn. Got what I needed. Roses that were nicely priced. A chocolate black out cake that tasted DELISH. Both were gifts for my other daughter.

Awful service. Lady at the register in the liquor section wouldn’t allow me to buy liquor because my 3 year old was present. Never have I ever heard such a dumb statement. It was also a major inconvenience since it was memorial day weekend Saturday around 6pm and i was out camping in the area with my family. What was i supposed to do? Leave my 3 year old in the car by himself so i can go inside the store to purchase alcohol? Worst place ever. If i could give this pace 0 stars i would. Awful service and she was super rude. She should be fired.

My wife and I were at Newton ShopRite today and we need to let you know that our cashier, Nikki was incredible. She was super friendly and super efficient! This store is absolutely AMAZING ! Super clean ! Everything is super well organized and the staff is super friendly and super knowledgeable. It has been years since I have been in such an amazing grocery store. To other chains, come here and take notes on how a fine grocery store should be run !

This shoprite is run super well. Employees are kind courteous helpful from outside handling carts to inside. Pharmacy people are excellent always helpful and courteous. Great Job!
