I went to Shoprite Newton! My God! what a shame! After scanning all off my goods, one of the staff came and stopped me from paying to check my bags and what I've scanned. I felt like it was a little biais because of the skin color.

It still says open on the ad. I got there three minutes after 6 PM. The ad says it’s open until seven. They lock the door as soon as I walked up they need to change their hours accordingly.

Shop Rite of Newton needs to get its shit togeather the produce is rotten most times anymore and the digital coupons are not loading which waste my time to get the correct pricing and should be automatically loaded onto your card. THEN you wouldnt have to get off the line to figure it out and waste in the area of 20 minutes fixing it Store needs a trainer beetween that kind of thing and the unsanitary practices and the meat guy telling me to get the f out of here due to his shift ending in 15 mins.. yeah i spend too much money in that store to be disrespected as such.

Shame on you, Shop Rite of Newton, NJ! BOYCOTT THIS STORE!!! I am once again appalled at your treatment of live lobsters!! DISGUSTING AND INHUMANE!! So HEARTBREAKING to watch one poor lobster trying to crawl over other DEAD lobsters to find water!! This is a living creature, kept out of water, its natural habitat, for hours on end, piled up on top of others. I've spoken on numerous occasions over the past years to both the assistant and head manager, asking them to stop this cruel practice. Often the lobsters are not even put out on a bed of ice, but unceremoniously dumped in a pile into this steel display cart. How ShopRite treats the living things in its care says a lot about how they must treat their food and their employees. Join me in boycotting this store! Read less

Don’t judge a ShopRite by its cover. This liquor store is sensational. You’d think being in Sussex County that the beer selection would be limited, but oh my it blows the doors off a lot of places. Highly would recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a drop of something good!

I've been shopping at ShopRite of Newton for over 30 years, the staff has always been very helpful. Love the quarter for a shopping cart, helps keep the vehicles from getting dinged.

I can always find what I need. Store is clean. Produce is almost always fresh. The workers are pleasant and accommodating. Shelves are always neatly stocked. Would highly recommend!

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Considering there's 2 other liquor stores so close, you'd think they'd hire nicer people.
