Lowes and I are done doing business. If a item is not in stock, do yourself a favor and order it somewhere else. They give delivery dates that are not realistic. You cannot track the items with their app. and customer service keeps you on hold forever and when they finally talk to you, you don't get a answer to your delivery issue.

would have used less stars if allowed, do not purchase countertops from this company they do not back up their products and the installer (Marvic) sucks. The sales men might as well work at a used car lot, you bought it now take a hike, while i am on the subject thier flooring department sucks also by not giving proper attention to warranty issues (will give you a claim number and see you in 6 months with a half ass answer as true for the countertop department. Sorry the lumber yards and hardware stores have been pushed aside. do yourself a favor STAY AWAY. Never again STEVE D

I ordered a simple toilet Oatey Wax Ring kit and set of plastic Shims for $13 online at 10 am for an in-person, locker pickup. Note that the day before, while buying a toilet seat- I went to the wax-ring section of the store and couldn't find anything other than the expensive, unnecessary $20 rubber toilet rings...despite the app indicating they had a variety of Oatey wax ring kits, in stock. Anyways, I also needed a piece of $28 trim base molding, so I headed to the store for the pickup well before 11am (which is the 2023 target time to beat for the Newton/Augusta daily rush). Granted- the order said it would take up to 3 hours to assemble. I get to the store and discover that Pro Center wasn't doing checkout yet during the workweek and that the checkout area is now 100% self-checkout with their brand new, gen3 self-checkout systems. The small, 2 item online order still isn't ready...AND there aren't any customers, BUT PLENTY of drone employees standing around and complaining about schedules to the other drones. I patiently wait for 10 minutes in the truck after checking myself out with their new self-checkout system, and the order still isn't ready...then I check the Lowe's app status again. The Lowe's app says that 'due to high volume ordering, the order may take up to 3 hours to assemble'. I just went ahead and canceled the online order after seeing how many drones were standing around and how complicated my $13 simple order must have been for their drones to assemble and manually transfer over to the locker pickup system. This location is pretty terrible and has always sucked...when I was maybe 22 years old about 20 years ago before all the technology 'improvement' and labor leaning, I witnessed one of the employees giving my father-in-law a hard time over the advertised price on a Lincoln Electric welder...old overweight guy with really awful beard just walked away and disappeared from tool-world. The scenario I dealt with is a modern example of what my father in law went through. Also, 10 years ago, I bought a Samsung Microwave for in-store delivery- after waiting a month and despite having a status saying they had it delivered to the store for pickup, they pretended it was never delivered- I canceled the order and bought one somewhere else. This specific store location is pretty pathetic and will never get better. Typical Newton/Augusta drone workers and drone managers.

No matter how many times you try to call they do not pick up. How do you locate your delivery? What if there's an issue? There's no way to contact anybody here. It's a nightmare. It would be great if somebody could actually be there but if you try calling for 6 hours straight and it just disconnects that's not very professional

My son and I ordered a stove at the end of January. So far he is still waiting for his stove. After five times of promising delivery and countless complains to Lowes, including the appliance manager A promised deliver date, no delivery, no communication, always with excuses, lies after lies. This is a perfect example of customer negligence. Somewhere in the chain of an ordered product the communication gets lost within Lowes and the poor customer. We have taken off work for expected deliveries, promised by Lowes managers for expected deliveries. Yet I'm still sitting here writing this review without a stove delivered. We have been told it's at the warehouse, at the store, and on the truck. Shame shame Lowes for lettings such an order matriculate into garbage. If I was a Lowes manager or some higher HR folk reading this I would fire a few folks and make sure replacements would be more than willing in keeping the good name of Lowes at a much higher esteem. Because right now it's lower then whale droppings and that's on the bottom of the ocean.

I think this Lowe's is the worst customer service Lowe's I've ever been to. I went to the lumber check out counter to ask for assistance. There were four associates and the cashier had her back turned to me. After standing there awhile she finally turns around and says something strange. I ask for assistance in hardware. Needless to say no one came, so I had to cut a piece of cable myself. Then there was no registers open except for self checkout, so I proceeded to check myself out with an item with no barcode(cable). So I selected the assistance option. Two associates with a lot of pins on their vest helped a lady next to me and walked off as the light at my register was flashing. The young man who was overseeing the self checkout came over and told me he would check me out, but he had a line. Another register opened up, so I checked out with her. I noticed a couple of employees behind the desk not doing anything. Seems like there are plenty of employees, but they don't seem to care much about assisting customers. The outdoor garden display was beautiful though.

The Proservices staff were very kind knowledgeable and helpful and got us right to what we were looking for, and even custom cut our wood for us!

So lets vent about the Hampton location and their "Veterans Discount". I went to their store today to purchase paint for the house. Employee was very nice in that department. Went to check out with an employee because we wanted to use my husbands Veterans card to get the 10% discount. She explained that lowes has had such a HUGE amount of fraud with these discounts that they now require you to sign up once a year. I told her I wasn't sure we had done that as we don't shop often. My husband is 72, and has Parkinsons and Dementia so it is hard to get him out of the house. We have the county Veteran card that we had used before but I know they always required he be there too. So as we stand there she hands me this packet and tells me to go home and get an account, send them the required information and then we will be signed up (it has to be done by April first). No problem although I did say to her do I need a smart phone because I don't have it. She said no. I said can I still get the 10% today and she said yes. Then she tried our phone number in the computer and it didn't come up. So now she says she cant give me the discount. I told her I wouldn't buy the paint. She said well you go home and fill everything out and come back with the receipt from today and we will give you the credit. We don't live close to the store- its Sussex county-nothing is close. So for me to drive all the way home, return another day, and make that trip all over again I would have eaten the $5-6 discount. I was soo angry that I told her to take the paint back. So now they have about $60 of wasted special blend paint, and one less customer. I would have gone home and tried to apply for their Veterans discount card, but I don't see also why the County issued card isn't any good. If they had just said we'll give you the discount today but please come in with it the next time there would have been no problem. I made two phone calls on the way home to tell two friends who have Veterans in their families, how my husband and I were treated and both were appalled. No, angry is a better word. So wasted product for Lowes, and most likely three less families shopping there.

Shopped many times at various LOWES locations. This is one of the best. Knowledgeable, friendly and professional staff. Butler and North Bergen should close as they are the worse I have visited. Never used LOWES services previously but recently purchased windows and had LOWES install at my home in Vernon. Good experience overall but outstanding experience with the installation. Mike did a great job, spotless, accomodating and clearly knows his trade. KUDOS!

I've tried to give this store several chances, especially as they're closer to me than Home Depot and I just can't come here anymore. Most times I know what I want and can find it on my own, however, the times I've needed help it's just not there. Once I needed help in electrical, there was nobody around but there was somebody sitting at a desk nearby (windows I think, not sure) when I asked him for help, without even looking up he growled "not my department ". Another time I needed help in plumbing. After searching around for somebody to help, I found an employee walking through. I asked if she could get somebody to help, she said she would but 10 minutes later I still hadn't seen a single other employee so I left and went to Home Depot. Today I came to see about a whole home generator, a major purchase. They seemed to be having a team meeting of employees at the main entrance when i came in. I browsed around, then went to the generator aisle where the sign said "ask store associate for help" but there were NONE to be found. I walked through 10 aisles without seeing ONE. I then made it to the front of the store where the employee meeting was still going on. Here's a suggestion, have your meetings on your own time instead of abandoning your customers on ours! I'm headed to Home Depot, never to come here again.

I ordered a pair of barn doors. The sales associate was super helpful and I spent quite some time with him ordering them. I had to wait over two weeks for them to arrive at the store although I was told a week. They were basic doors. However when I went to pick them up after borrowing a friend's truck I was extremely disappointed and left angry never wanting to deal with this Lowe's again. The doors were brought up front with no protective packaging. They were scratched, dinged and had blue marks on them from the cart and the corners appeared as if they were dropped. When I complained to customer service I was given such an attitude and told that is how they always arrive and was treated as if I didn't know what I should be expecting. I went to the back to find the sales person who was excellent. He came up front to take a look and agreed they were not acceptable. Customer service even berated him right in front of me refusing to get the manager. While the salesperson called the manager himself, I told the customer service rep that her behavior was anything but customer service! The manager, adding to my frustration, had the same attitude and poor customer service, tried to convince me that there was no protective packaging, the broken corners were the bottom of the doors and would not show and I should paint the doors so the dings and scratches wouldn't show. These doors were over $1000. Needless to say I demanded a refund and left angry. I ended up ordering my doors online from Wayfair which were delivered in protective packaging and in good condition.

This is Lowe's Store #1976 in Newton N.J. and it's a Stellar store. Decent home Improvement supplies and building materials, large amount of hand and power tools, outdoor equipment, grilling, patio, landscaping tools, masonry supplies, and a well stocked garden center. They also offer a huge tool and truck rental department at this Lowe's which I'll keep in mind for any need in the future. Service is very friendly and helpful and checking out from the garden center couldn't have been quicker or more convenient. I was in and out and on my way in no time flat. I'll definitely be coming back to this store and That's The Name of That Tune.

I usually find Lowe's employees friendly and helpful. I have never met anyone rude or disrespectful. I have bought building supplies, lighting, paint, and many appliances. They respect Veterans as opposed to Home Depot and they have better quality appliances.

The bathroom at this Lowes is 5-star quality. Seriously. The tile work and lighting are quite soothing, and rarely does a person get to make a statement like this about a public restroom! If you're in need of a great place to relieve yourself, be it #1 or #2, choose Lowes of Hampton. As for the store itself, its products, personnel, etc., I find it to be nicer than the nearby Home Depot, but it carries far less products, and you'll be hard pressed to find employees who can assist with questions. Go here for higher grade hardware, but go to Home Depot if you need more variety or actual assistance.
