I'm going to say that Peggy gives the best old school stellar service that folks dream of else where. I came for fawn creek carpet , needed for selling a condo after a family member's passing. Peggy assisted us with such attention , I felt like she was family. If I ever need another carpet , I wanna get it from Peggy, knows her stuff.

I had a great experience with the general manager of the store as he solved my problem and answered my questions in a short time and a professional manner and I left the store a happy and satisfied customer, thank you sir I will be back for more shopping.

I will never EVER buy anything from Home Depot ever again. We purchased a stove, fridge, and dishwasher in store months ago. First screw up on their end: The LG stove was no longer being manufactured. They never called us, they changed what we ordered without saying anything and also pushed back our delivery date by almost a month. Second: We were supposed to have it all delivered tomorrow. AGAIN THEY DID NOT CALL US. We call the night before the first woman tells us our appliances will be delivered between 7am-7pm which is just ridiculous on it's own but to call back in 2 hours to get a more estimated time. So in doing so the next person we speak to says that "now" our appliances are back ordered which is strange considering they just told us it was getting delivered. The biggest pile of BS I've ever had to deal with. I will never return.

The reconstruction of my kitchen was the worst experience. After spending $25,000 +, there is no way the cabinet door should come off the hinges within 2 months of installation. thank God it did not fall on my son's head. I notified the contractor who said he would call the next day to set up a time to fix it. Now it is a week later and no phone call to fix it. During the reconstruction, some tiles were knocked down from the ceiling. They never shored the rest of the ceiling up. The next day, half of my ceiling fell. The contractor wanted me to pay $1200. extra dollars. I have had such a terrible experience from miscommunication, not being told a whole story, and shoddy work from a contractor that I will never use Home Depot again.

It’s just as nice as any other Home Depot. The parking lot entrance and exit is a little odd and awkward, but no biggie.

The Home Depot Store #984 in Newton N.J. is a Very Solid home improvement store with great selection on power tools, landscaping equipment, outdoor furniture, and a large well maintained Garden Center. I came here looking for all of the above and I was able to find everything that I needed plus recieved very good sales service from the Garden Center Associate. I also returned some garden irrigation kits that I didn't want and I found the Service Desk Associates to be helpful and pleasant. Overall I'll definitely be stopping in to this H.D. in the future whenever I find myself up in this area.

Worst experience! I purchased thousands of dollars in appliances and removal. I cleared out my refrigerator as instructed, took off the whole day from work and waited for delivery. Delivery showed up late, brought in one appliance, pulled out my old refrigerator and instructed me to follow them out to the truck to look at a huge dent in one appliance.
