Great place for pick your own strawberries. It's definitely muddy so be prepared. They also have a gift shop with plants and garden trinkets. The staff were helpful and pointed us in the direction to Find the good berries. I'll be back again next year.

Don't have much to say . It was raining and I stopped and bought some strawberries that had already been picked. Fresh local strawberries are so much better than what you get from California in the supermarket.Yes they cost more. Yes they're worth it.

Sussex County Strawberry Farm continues to be THE place for fresh local strawberries. Whether you pick your own or purchase pre picked, they do not disappoint. Flavorful plump berries not found anywhere else. Treat yourself and enjoy!

Drive all the way to come pick strawberries, but....... Make sure you guess when their filed hours are for picking! They open at 7:00 very clear! No where on this does it say they close the field at 1:30pm I am sure the strawberries are wonderful...... but I am not planning on spending any more here now..... It's a beautiful day..... But now I have to get back in a car.....yuck! I just wanted to walk in the fields.... Well, what you going to do?

I came here on a Saturday morning with a group of 5 people. I called the place the Friday morning before to check their strawberry picking hours. Since there wasn't many strawberries because of the spring freeze, I wanted to make sure before we drove 1.5 hours from NYC. The recorded message said the picking hours were 7 AM to 11 AM. There was plenty of parking by the strawberry fields. It was $9 for a small quart basket or $18 for a large quart basket. You get a discount if you buy multiple large quart baskets. There were still plenty of strawberries to pick even with the spring freeze. It was a fun activity and the strawberries were sweet. I would definitely come back, this is one of the few farms that doesn't charge admission or need to pre-pay online. FYI - they only take cash so no credit cards.

Called 3 times, no answer. Website said they were open. Facebook said they were open. We made an 1.5 drive to the place only to find out that they hit their limit for field picking and they were also out of strawberries. It would have been nice to receive a message when we called or to see a post on Facebook to alert us of their situation. Staff were not very welcoming but doing many things. I imagine their workload is very high this time of year.

One of the cutest little farms in NJ that I've been to. I went here for strawberry picking. A surprisingly easy activity to do during COVID: easy to distance yourself. Their fields are very organized and clean. Typical cute farm decor and wooden signs that you look forward to seeing. Their market section also has some goodies that are sure to please: pickles, preserves, syrups- you get the vibe. The staff was also super sweet. I drove an hour to come here and I would surely do it again! You can really taste the difference between a freshly picked farm strawberry and a store bought strawberry. Fresher and sweeter!

I have bought my hanging baskets from this place for the past 2 years. They are a great value - $19.50 for a very large hanging basket. They all have wonderful blooms & look very healthy. I stopped at 3 other gardening stores looking for plants & what I should have done was not waste my time & go directly here! The people working there were helpful & had masks & gloves on. When paying, they have hand sanitizer for you to you. Definitely recommend!

Great day for strawberries! I love this place. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Either pick your own or take home pre-picked. Very, very tasty, sweet and moist- some small some large nothing beats fresh in-season strawberries.Lots of plants and other interesting items like honey sticks! Who knew. Tried the cinnamon honey sticks and now have a new craving. Judy was a pleasure to speak with and is always so friendly.

Entertainment, huge strawberries and very good strawberries, the prices of each pan are a bit high but they are organic and well worth it. A tip, go where the shade of the trees is, because they are much larger and juicy
