Stopped into this store today for the first time and had a wonderful experience. First of all, the store is immaculate. Everything is spotless and organized well so all the items are easy to find. The clothes are in good condition and priced fairly. The workers were very kind and helpful. I got some great items and I am looking forward to coming back.

HOLIDAY HOURS 2023… closed between Christmas and NYD, reopening Jan 2. Wish their hours on google had been updated to reflect this but oh well. It’s still a great thrift shop, I will visit again in the new year :)

Other thrift shoppers might rate this higher, but I mostly look for electronics and toys and they didn't have much of that. The store is clean, well organized, and bright and cheery. Their hours are limited. I have come through this area multiple times in the past 6 years on trips and never was able to stop in because they were closed. In summer 2023 I got lucky and visited while on Spring st. picking up dinner. I was very surprised to see how popular the store was when I stopped in- there were more customers here than in any other store in the area. There is not a lot of street parking, but I was able to get a spot nearby. If you are not so lucky, there is a municipal lot well within walking distance.

Pros: There was a wide selection of items here - so many clothes, kitchenware, accessories, etc. And the prices are relatively cheap compared to a popular thrift store nearby. Lots of vintage-quality clothing too. It was a relaxing time on the Thursday I went.Cons: Cash only, no card (that’s ok with me, but just make sure you have cash). And the dressing rooms ARE open, but for whatever reason you can only try on three (3) items at a time. Know what you want; don’t take your time trying stuff on.

Antique store prices at a thrift store. This used to be a great place to shop, but now they must cross reference pricing with eBay where people are paying premiums for things they collect. But then the inventory does not move - I haven't been there in nine months and the same things are on the shelves. That said, the store is very well organized and impeccably clean. And everything has price tags. I just wish they would go back to thrift store pricing or call themselves an antique store.

Holy Bric a Brac Batman, this place is awesome! Drove up to Newton from Lyndhurst and it was so worth the trip. The place has everything for everybody or anyone! Clothes, jewelry, shoes, pictures, dishes, and a book library in the back of the shop. You can easily spend 2 hours just looking! I can't wait to go back. The staff is super friendly and helpful! Oh and got some really cool stuff. It's a beautiful relaxing drive, so go and check it out!

The Beehive thrift store in Newton is one of the Best Thrift store I have had the opportunity to shop in .. Not only are their prices really great ! The Volunteers are very helpful if you have a question.. The store is very well organized too .What I like best is they run tag sales , as well as bag sales at the end of different seasons .If you are looking for that Unique piece you might just find it there .I also like that they post on Facebook many different items that have just come in ,showing me the variations of items they have in the store .. Definitely one way of my looking forward to going back in the store . I have found items that I was looking to match up with items I already have. The Best part of all my donations and purchases is that I found out that the money is going to the NMCA Auxiliary of NMC Hospital ..The Auxiliary makes donations to the Hospital as they do many changes to improve the Hospital as needed .Also the Auxiliary Donates 3 Scholarships every year to local High School Students pursuing nursing field .

Consignment shop prices. Clothes, same brand, more than on sale at Kohls or Walmart. Prices on odds and ends (dishes, glassware, pictures etc) have gone up considerably. For the population served in this area prices should be much less if the goal is to help others.

Went here today to try on wedding dresses, but their fitting rooms are still closed and they wouldn’t make accommodations. Who is going to buy a wedding dress without trying it on first? They lost a sale of $50 to $75 ??♀️

Used to be a great place to get a deal but now the prices are too high. It seems like an "I sold it on Ebay" store. Maybe it has to do with Atlantic Health taking over Newton Hospital, but the prices were definitely better when Atlantic Healthcare wasn't associated with this thrift shop.

This place is awesome. I always see something that surprises me from the past. I either remember having it around our home growing up, or I'm fascinated by an item I never knew existed. Being a history buff I always run across something interesting at this place. Prices are great, items are unique
