We had our water softener installed about 5 years ago and have been very happy with it. Recently we had scheduled service and everything went as planned - they arrived at the agreed upon time and were very helpful. I also recently had salt delivery (I usually pick it up) and that too went very well. They are very efficient and responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

Do not go with this company. They use and install proprietary systems (reverse osmosis, whole house filters) that require you to use only “their” substandard filters. Their filters will go bad in 2 months (not the 1 year promised by the sales guy) leaving you with hefty bills. My reverse osmosis system sounds like a never ending gurgling fish tank in my kitchen unless I change the $35 filter every 2 months. Contacted Joe, the owner, and have had multiple technicians come to the home and there is no fix except to “deal with the constant sound of water dripping down a pipe” in my kitchen because “it’s working” or to change the filter every 2 months to stop the issue at my expense. Save yourself the hassle and go with a different company or call local plumber.

PB was at my house multiple times for the same issue multiple times. After selling me about 2k in equipment the problem still existed. I had them come back out they were here 10 minutes told me nothing was wrong and sent me a bill. The problem still existed. I finally called another company who told me the 2k piece of equipment wasn't needed they disconnected it. They made some adjustments and changes. I have not had a problem since. PB kept sending me invoices and when I called to speak to someone about it they never returned my call. I stopped at there office to talk to them and couldn't get any answers. Now they have filled a collections complaint on me over a $150 invoice for something that wasn't fixed. I do not recommend this company.

Very professional! Had my initial consultation and will plan on an install this month. Going to roll the dice and give them the five stars in advance, then come back and adjust if necessary. However, based on friends of mine who have used with them as well and my initial experience, I don't think that'll happen.

Overall, i was happy with the experience and service. If not for a last minute schedule chage snafu, this would be five stars. The company changed the date of my install prior to talking to me for agreement which was frustrating to say the least. That said, the installation by Mark was done professionally, efficiently and neatly. Mark walked us through the process, his plan and then installed the unit. He then took the time to explain to us how the system works and what to expect for filter changes each year. All in all, I would recommend this outlet to others in the area.

WATER SOFTENER & WATER PURIFICATION 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!! From the minute we set up our free water test, these guys were ABOVE par... I happened to call on a Friday afternoon at 4:58pm just because I didn't want to forget to call - they not only RETURNED my call but set it up for that Monday. Our salesman, Norman was amazing. He provided us with all we needed to know. We wanted & needed (2) systems - 1 to soften the water and 1 to remove all that awful poison in the water. Pricing was VERY good - I mean, you can't really put a price on no more bottled water, piping throughout your home, no more buildup in the showers from the hard water & ultimately your HEALTH. Norman was SUPER PATIENT - I took a LONG time to come back to them and schedule. In fact I took too long and they were NEVER pushy at all. Once we scheduled the work, they were speedy in getting here, permits were filed expeditiously. Work was done in 1 day by very skilled, professional gentlemen. Now we have a completely SAFE water system in our home with SOFTER water and everything they did made a big difference in our lives. Thank you very much to the team at Passaic Bergen Water Softening.... We appreciate you!!
