The store urself could be a bit cleaner, but they work hard keeping the store stocked! Like any Bodega, it's over priced, but you pay for the convenience of a bodega! But the best thing about this place is Anna! She runs that kitchen like it's easy! Even when there is a line going down the aisle and she's the only one cooking! And she does it with a smile EVERY DAY! I think this place would fail without her! I TRULY hope they pay her well! The rest of the staff is always kind and smiling as well! Recommend...?

For a bodega, it's fairly clean and items are stocked regularly. They fit a bit of damn near everything in there! But you pay for that convenience! ? I go there daily!

This was my go to place almost for a year. Best breakfast sandwiches, delicious hot lunches with different menus every day for $5 (at that time), and sweets that take you back to your childhood. Their bacon, egg and cheese for breakfast, and the ox-tail for lunch were my go too-s.

Very unsuspecting deli. Hot and cold sandwiches are all under 5 dollars, even for foot-long hoagies. They use Boars head brand products and their cheesesteaks are great. Nice people and bilingual too.

I hesitate in writing this review because it will tip people off to maybe some of the best Dominican food in all of Newark and the surrounding area. Let me tell you everyday the food is super fresh and there are different types of rice you can choose from-white, black with beans or yellow or yellow with beans and the meats. Dear Lord. Deliciousness. Short ribs, pork ribs, pernil, oxtails, carne guisado (beef stew) or pollo guisado (stewed chicken). And that's just the start. The menu changes everyday but let me tell you this unsuspecting bodega does not play when it comes to freshly made, delicious Latin cuisine. The menu changes daily so some things I mentioned may or may not be available. Sandwiches are amazing too.
