I find the staff here very welcoming and eager to serve. I have no complaints about the service here. The bank manager runs a tight ship and provides fantastic service. However, this bank is located in one of the worst parts of Newark. The mentally ill, homeless, drug addicts use the lobby of the bank as a hangout. This particular bank needs to do more to maintain a safe and secure lobby.

Every time I come here to take out cash from the ATM there’s homeless people inside. Not only is the smell unbearable but they’re there hounding you for money. Shouldn’t have to feel this uncomfortable trying to get money from my local bank.

The hygiene in this place is horrible! You have homeless people sleeping inside the ATM machine space. It stinks like smoke and urine all the time and nothing is done about it. I dont feel safe using this ATM when the homeless people are in there. I complaint multiple times and still nothing is done!

Rude customer service. Not the tellers. Extremely long wait times. I had to say, "good morning " so the rep could acknowledge that she didn't speak. Preference to a specific race was very noticeable.

They are not accommodating. Went there after leaving work early in the pouring rain to have a simple transaction done. They would not help me because it was almost "Closing time." Some of the employees are downright lazy ?. A line formed with only 1 teller! Employees were walking back and forth behind the window and would not stop to assist. It stink of poopy and pee from the homeless. Very unprofessional ghetto attitude!?

Can be very busy from the 1st. To the 3rd. Go after 10:00am and it's almost always empty.

Unfortunately I left out of the atm area 10 mins ago and the smell of the homeless people is still on myself and my sister who is currently throwing up do to the smell.

Any time I come here to use ATM there are homeless people inside. If they are not inside there’s some kind of substance abuser outside trying to earn a buck holding the door for me. I don’t even want to get out of my car, much less go inside alone with them to USE MY CARD! This needs to be handled. I just pulled up to this bank and two other cars saw these people and left. Not good !

Five stars for service but ZERO stars for allowing a dangerous environment with homeless people basically LIVING in the lobby!!! Just now two drunk men were harassing all of us just trying to get money out!! DO BETTER, WELLS FARGO!!!
