Worst labcorp I ever went to!! The lady that look the blood work is extremely rude! She just looks at you and expects you to know what to do, she didn't had the tubes ready to collect the blood and already bored my child, after then she was scrambling to get the tubes. My child hand bruised badly right after she finished with him.

Denied my medical alert service dog, reception was rude and condescending.
They were talking poorly of me to other employees, loud enough for me to hear as well.
Employees need to be reprimanded, show better customer service/compassion for people with disabilities that aren’t visible. And just compassion for individuals in general. They also need to be better educated on the ADA laws regarding service animals.

Doesn’t obey federal law, saw the viral post of them discriminating against a woman with a legitimate service dog. Disgusting.

watched a woman get denied service yesterday due to the staff not liking her service animal. they began to speak loudly about the client that was denied right in front of everyone trying to claim that “she has anxiety” and that she should go be serviced elsewhere. Super catty and rude. Frankly I am disgusted that these employees are considered medical professionals. I will be avoiding Labcorp completely seeing as the other Newark locations also have reviews about the terrible customer service and just as terrible bedside manner.

Illegally denied my medical alert service animal. If 0 stars was an option I happily would put it. Their “service” was so bad I filled out a DOJ Civil Rights complaint and will be contacting corporate or high ups about the behavior of their Saturday morning staff on 4/20/24 from 8-9:30ish am. What I experienced was ableism, service animal discrimination, disability discrimination, ADA ( Americans with Disabilities Act ) violation and childish unprofessionalism met with a rude teenager like attitude from the receptionist/technicians at the front desk. They refused me medical services that I desperately needed done this weekend before my blood results would be different due to out of stock medications. Why did they refuse me service? Well that’s because I had my medical alert service dog with me. My service dog has been with me to this specific location at lab Corp over 20 times for routine blood work. I have never once had an issue up until today. Under the ADA law there are only two reasons a public place can legally kick out a service animal, if it was out of control or not potty trained. My service dog was in control by my side practically invisible and is potty trained. I actually have it all filmed to legally protect my service animal in that situation, and I’m sure their cameras caught how well and professional he behaved as well. I never got an answer on why they didn’t feel like abiding and adhering by the ADA law. Also under ADA law it is illegal to deny a service dog access without probable cause like the two causes stated above. These desk employees immediately started escalating the situation. There was no reason or talking with them. Their tons and attitudes were offensive and disgusting. They shouldn’t be working in a medical facility with that behavior. If I was their employer I’d be disgusted with their actions. Apparently since it’s definitely not the first review where someone has complained about the lack of professionalism and maturity for the front desk employees at this location. They also claimed and assumed my MEDICAL alert service animal was for anxiety and rudely told me to go to a hospital because they can’t service me if my anxiety is that bad. That is disability discrimination and ableism, and I have that on recording loud and clear as well. This employee needs to go through sensitivity training, ADA training, training on how to be an act like a mature decent adult or just be replaced quite honestly. Another thing they took and ran with was the fact that I was recording “them” which in reality I started recording after they started coming at us and ILLEGALLY denying my service dog. And if we want to get technical I was not recording them. My phone was face down recording my service dog the entire time, they just happened to be breaking the law and acting like children in the background. This was done for legality reasons to protect my service dog and myself in that disgusting situation, especially when the one front desk lady who was wearing the 2024 lab Corp shirt went to talk to her supervisor and flat out lied through her teeth making her look favorable and not stating the facts within the situation. Those lies are another reason I recorded. The employees who delt with that situation were legally wrong, and had disgusting unprofessional childish attitudes.m, they need to be replaced or go through extensive sensitivity training, ADA accessibility training etc. for a medical facility who provides medical services you’d think the employees would adhere to the ADA law. It’s sad that these employees didn’t. Something needs to change.

Today, Saturday, April 20, 2024, I went to do a blood test on my daughter. The person in front of the office is a very disrespectful person, he does not respond with a greeting, he does not even respond to what you ask. By the way, if you are going to have a urine test, do not waste your time waiting and even if you see their bad face, come and ask since many people came with a prescription in hand to ask and I told them you have to wait for more than 1 hour and finally they called That person told him it's a urine test, you had to come closer, you didn't have to wait. She is there to take care of the patient. If she doesn't have patience, she shouldn't work there. The patient shouldn't have any doubts because if she asks, it's such a horrible way. I advised him to speak loudly because when they spoke to him like that his everything would go down. I don't want to talk about the weather, there is only one nurse on such a busy Saturday. I hope they do something, there is a number to speak to supervisor Anneth Núnez. I called but no one answers, he says to leave a message and he will call me. I will do my update if the supervisor calls me.

Extremely unprofessional and unsafe.
I arrived around 12:45. Too few chairs in the waiting room, with multiple people standing while waiting and zero receptionist, just iPads to check in. When they called me back to verify my paperwork they called two of us back simultaneously, and I got to hear all of the other woman’s personal information while the other employee was texting on her phone and refused to acknowledge I even existed. The woman than began to tell her coworker they were too busy today and was showing the woman working a text she was sending and telling her they should lock the doors an hour early to prevent more people from coming in. When the woman in front of me was done they proceeded my paperwork and told me to sit in room 4. They were listening to Notorious B.I.G. at a high volume (kinda amusing) and I waited until the woman who previously wouldn’t acknowledge my presence walked in the room. I said hello and the looked blankly at me and then turned to the computer without ever talking to me. Without speaking to me (NOT asking my name, date of birth and ZERO questions about medical conditions, allergies or any issues with having blood drawn) she grabbed my arm, applied a tornequet and began wiping my left arm where I had blood drawn at a physicians office 3 days ago. I told her “I just had blood drawn there three days ago” and she replied “wasnt me” and jabbed me with the needle. During the process she started yelling at who I assume was the collection driver who was in the hall, but I could not see him through the curtain she never closed. I never witnessed her wash her hands or use disinfectant. She then said “you’re done” and walked away without any further communication. I definitely won’t be coming back to this location, and I’m shocked by the lack of professionalism and disregard for patient safety and confidentiality.

i went to the lab corp in the 3rd floor. i took my 20 month old daughter for blood work. The nurse Lucy initially said she saw a strong vein. she poked my baby and started to move the needle for a couple of seconds. Moved on to the other arm, and again couldn't find a vein. Then, proceeded to say my child was dehydrated (my toddler ONLY drinks water; constantly.) & said my child probably didn't eat (i fed my child prior to the appointment + snacks) without taking any accountability plus left my child crying. i really should have told her off but my focus was to grab my baby and GO. worst experience ever..so bad that I am scared to go to any Lab corp. i recommend to go to another place.

Please don't go there they don't care people. The have a bad nurse. I just went there a few days ago for a test blood and the woman pricked me she do so hard make blood a lot and it's in my clothes too passing the day start to get infected for the bad service. Please don't go. The truth is, I don't think they clean their needles because on top of the fact that they pull out the needle horribly, they left me with an infection in my arm and bleeding more than I should. The one who draws blood is a Brazilian who doesn't know how to work there. It was the worst experience.

I managed to arrive in the morning and get the worst person to see me. Extremely rude and unwilling employee to help. I got lost and didn't know what to do, because she was being so rude that she wouldn't pass on the information! She was a short girl.
