Never again!!! I took a pair of Vince Camuto slides to get a heel tap! This (explicit word) messed them all up! Looks like a different shoe on the bottom! I can’t stand this place! Go to Neil’s in Elizabeth NJ! Or Rocco Express Shoe Repair in Rahway NJ! I promise, you will thank me later!

I've taken two pairs of men's dress/formal shoes to this shop, and he's done a great job of restoring them. The first pair needed a clean, shine, and sole repair, and the second were coming unglued between the sole and the leather. He charged $35 and $15 respectively for good work, and saved me $100+ in having to purchase new shoes.

DO NOT GO TO JOE'S SHOE MAKER TO HAVE ANYTHING FIX WITH A ZIPPER. HORRIBLE JOB. NEVER EXPLAINED THAT HE WILL HAVE TO CUT MORE OUT ETC NOW MY KARL LAGERFIELD SHOE IS RUINED. HE DID NOTHING TO MAKE IT RIGHT. NADA. NOW I HAVE 2 DIFFERENT LOOKS TO MY SHOE AND 2 DIFFERENT ZIPPERS.

Awful. They refused to fix my sneakers. The shoe guy didn’t even look at my face. I was trying to use a local shoe guy. Great reviews aren’t real.

Had two pairs of shoes repaired here. Excellent work, super fast turnaround, fair prices. I will definitely be back if more of my shoes need repair in the future, and I highly recommend this store to everyone.Edit: had three more pairs repaired and had an awesome experience again. These people really do know their craft well.

This guy is very reasonable. He is honest and will let you know if a repair is not worth it. My son wears out his expensive sneakers within a few weeks. Joe can make the sneakers almost new again. I cannot afford to throw away Jordan sneakers due to a runner down heal. Joe saves me hundreds of dollars by repairing expensive sneakers

So far I've relied on them twice to fix two pairs of boots. One with a broken heel and another pair (not shown) with a peeling outer sole on one foot and a broken heel on the other. These guys are superb, haven't let me down so far!!!Since my career pretty much has me on my feet and then some I'm going to be relying on these guys until the day they ever close up shop.
