Very nice and helpful! Brought in a shirt with big oil stains I wasn’t sure if they’d be able to remove and they brought back the shirt spotless! Will definitely be coming back.

Have never had issues with their services. I've gotten a few pants tailored here and some buttons repaired. Dry cleaning can take a few days since they usually have a lot of items to take care of but service is great overall.

Went to have my suit dry cleaned before an important job interview. Came back and Halsey Cleaners broke one of the buttons on the suit and didn't even bother to tell me.

I was looking for a new dry cleaner after I moved and decided to give them a try. I haven't really done dry cleaning myself before and relied on my parents but the people here were very helpful and talked me through all my questions.I called them before hand because I saw the reviews about this place but apparently they're under new management and trying to rebrand.All in all, great experience and super helpful.Services: Ironing

Halsey Cleaners is great. The service is wonderful , never had an issue. I also have had alterations done there and the lady behind the counter did a great job. Halsey Cleaners is the best.

Halsey Cleaners did not clean my clothes. They were returned on hangers in bags, but smelled like body odor. They did not smell when I dropped them off. I called for a refund, and the person working said she did not believe me. I went to the storefront, and they accused me of just not wanting to pay, refusing to refund me. My clothes smell disgusting. I think they put them into a pile of dirty clothes, and then hung them up without ever cleaning them. Absolutely disgusting, and the people working there are beyond rude!!

Gone there a couple of times, even though I thought they were overpriced. First experience was ok, second time the lady at the front was very abrupt and rude, I tried a third time and got the same. They were not able to do a simple adjustment and didn’t seem to want to answer my questions. Needless to say that was my final attempt. I’m a long time Newark resident but they will never get my business again. It also occurred to me after reading some of the other comments they only show respect and kindness to certain people! If you want us to support you, support us! Do better Halsey Cleaners!

I have been using Halsey for eight years. They are reliable. They also do take care with special textiles. I inherited a Japanese wedding kimono with lots of embroidery that had been on display in a living room and had gathered dust over time. Hardly anyone knows how to clean them and one that did was going to charge me over $1000. Halsey charged me $100 and packed it in an archival box. I also received a Chinese Manchu robe (a jifu) from the 1900's. It was very fragile with a food stain that had probably been on it for years. They managed to remove the stain. Impeccable service. We are lucky to have them in Newark.

It’s convenient for me but they’re not that organized. I’ve been there multiple times and sometimes randomly they’ll out in my phone number and ask if I’m a new customer and make me fill out all my information all over again.
