Decent hotel close to the airport, with shuttle, free breakfast, and they allowed us a late checkout at 1:30 because the airport lost our luggage. Never visited their pool but we were happy in our room.

Their shuttle only goes to Terminal B not Terminal A. Which we found out the morning of our flight on the way to the airport. No advertising about only being partial airport shuttle on the website.

This hotel was welcoming and helpful from check in to check out. They gave us great recommendations on where to eat and answered any questions we had with a smile. Jaselle was particularly helpful and had a great smile!

WORST HOTEL EVER. DO NOT STAY HERE!! Was here a couple of weeks ago and my family and I were robbed. Some items and cash were taken from our room when we were gone. We had a do not disturb sign and yet someone still came in and stole our stuff. When asked to be investigated we were told they can’t do anything more. When I told them if they can check if it was someone who works at the hotel and they told me with full confidence that it was not someone from the hotel who would steal. When police investigated along with maintenance, they checked the log for our room and YES INDEED, IT WAS SOMEONE WHO WORKED AT THE HOTEL WHO WENT INTO OUR ROOM THAT DAY. It was ridiculous how this whole situation turned out and how unhelpful the hotel was. Will be taking this matter to corporate. I just wanted to tell my story and hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Most people who use this hotel are flying out of Newark the next day. It is pretty much on a hotel island surrounded by interstate. Its not glamorous but its

They told me that their shuttle could not take me to Terminal A. I had to pay for a taxi. When I was waiting for my flight I spoke to another passenger who stayed at the Renasance and their shuttle took him directly to Terminal A.

This was my children's first time staying in a hotel. They were looking forward to the pool!! And, we chose this Marriott because they advertised that they had a pool. They failed to clarify that the pool is under renovation and non functioning at the time. There was also black mold in the bathroom on the ceiling near the shower and sink. The floors were disgusting also. I will not recommend staying here when there are a plethora of other hotels in the vicinity. The people were nice though.

This hotel is very close to the airport and their is a shuttle service which is good. The rooms are dated and it didn’t feel as if it was cleaned properly.I was not pleased with the service, from I booked I indicated that I am requesting a late check out, I even called and told them I need one and I am willing to pay. They told me to wait until I come, when I arrived I am told that they are full and they cannot do anything about it and I should have just booked for two nights. I ended up having to leave the hotel the next day and sat at the airport for 6 hours.

My review is based solely on the airport shuttle drivers. We arrived at EWR 2am from Istanbul. Called the Fairfield Inn to request a ride to the hotel. When the shuttle arrived the lady driver was not very helpful and rude. She came around opened the sliding door, the step up was very difficult for my wife. There was a step stool inside the van, but the driver never offered to assist us, I'm 77/70 years old. I took the step stool out and helped my wife into the van. Then carried our luggage to the rear where the driver was waiting. Never once speaking to us or offer assist us getting in or out of the van once we reached hotel. We'll stay next door at the Marriott next time. Maybe choose another chain since Marriott owns several hotels in the same location.

Close to EWR airport with a free shuttle. Decent included breakfast. No on-site restaurant for dinner. The options were take out or the restaurant in the nearby hotel with a long wait due to four side by side hotels and only one place for dinner.Walkability: You can walk between the four hotels but you're on an "island" surrounded by highways. There's no leaving the "island" without a vehicle.

Not recommended at all. This particular property is not only dated & visibly dirty, but the manager of this property took our money on a prepaid reservation, did not provide our room & refused to refund. After being stuck at Newark airport all night due to a series of flight delays, we called & made a prepaid reservation for the Fairfield Inn Newark Airport just before 6:00 am. They took our money & our reservation, and we headed directly to the property in an Uber. We arrived 15 minutes later, and the lady at the front desk said our reservation had timed out because at 6:00 am they wipe any rooms where the guests have not arrived. But they kept our money! We asked for another room, but she said they would have to charge for the 2nd room (ie. charge us twice), because we didn't arrive by 6:00 am. (We literally made the reservation & paid for it just 15 minutes earlier! They said nothing whatsoever about needing to be there within 10 minutes or forfeiting our money when we called in the reservation. They kept our money, but refused to provide us the room we paid for). The manager refused to reimburse when we got Marriott involved. This was beyond simply unethical. It was outright theft. Be warned.

I was surprised they had veggie sausage for breakfast. I never ate breakfast there until the last day because the last time I stayed at hotels in the states I couldn’t have anything. The bathrooms are horrible. There is no way to circulate the air. So 4 girls taking showers back to back destroys the wallpaper and everything else in the bathroom. There are permanent drip marks all over. It needs a renovation. Even the seats in the public areas have too much wear and tear. RENO is needed!!

I'm giving 3.5 stars overall for my 3 nights stay. See my comments below.I'll start with the good, the beds were pretty comfortable. No microwave in room was a bummer. The shower curtain was too short for the curve shower bar, so the floor got really wet while taking a shower.I suffer from allergies, since room had quite a bit of dust, I slept with a mask on all 3 nights. My friends King size bed frame was broken in her room on 3rd floor, so they didn't get good sleep at night ?. They had to hold onto bed post to keep from falling off bed. The issue was reported to check out staff member. See attached photos. The breakfast was ok.Etc...
