They love to yell at customers.
I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Ecualondri. From the moment I walked in the staff showed a complete lack of manners and professionalism. Instead of treating me respectfully, they yelled at me and treated me with a rude and disrespectful attitude.
Customer treatment is unacceptable at this place. I felt uncomfortable and offended by the way they spoke to me. This type of behavior is not only unprofessional, it is also completely inappropriate for any business that wants to keep its customers. The most worrying thing is that this was not an isolated experience. I have witnessed this rude behavior on several occasions over the years.
I would not recommend this laundromat to anyone and will definitely not be returning. It's a shame that a local establishment treats its customers this way. I hope that management takes immediate action to improve customer service and ensure that situations like this do not happen again.

Horrible customer treatment.
I had a very bad experience, terrible customer service, and from what I see I'm not the only one. If you spend a few minutes reading the negative comments from others, they all say the same thing, how bad the service is and how rude they can be. As a local you want to support local businesses, but with that treatment I will never return. Hopefully one day they will take action on the matter and be able to improve their service, apparently rudeness from the owners has been transmitted to the employees and it has become a tradition to mistreat customers. I wish you good luck and truly eliminate this terrible custom as a company.
RESPONSE TO RUDE OWNER
Everyone has the right to make mistakes, both you as a company and me as a client, however what is being raised here is not the error. But the lack of respect and kindness that is given to us as a customer. We are all valuable, you, like us, deserve fair and dignified treatment. The asking is the giving and I, like many other customers, have preferred to spend our money elsewhere, because the problem persists. Every time someone gives an opinion, you respond cynically and generically, and even apologize for the poor treatment you provide to your clients, which in the end ends in the repetition and conservation of the same problem, you have been doing that for many years. It's time to change! I hope they work on it because I'm not just saying it for myself but for the rest of the clients who have also had a bad experience, it seems to me that it is an excellent opportunity for improvement for your company.

They’re scammer, the machines don't even work and when the machines break down “it’s your fault for not paying attention” if I could give zero I would honestly.

Terrible customer service, I don't recommend it since you pay to wash there but the treatment you receive is terrible. The owner's daughter calls the police and doesn't show her face because she runs, she thinks we have to be afraid of the fact that she calls the police. police and still believing herself to be a prepared person which according to her gives her the right to discriminate against the work of others which according to her is a prepared person but here she is the same as everyone doing cleaning which she denigrates others by being less than whatever their response is no It gives you the right to believe yourself more than others and no, ma'am, you have problems with everyone there, I don't recommend it at all because you have no empathy with children and much worse if you don't know the conditions of each child, whatever your response, you are a rude person. which no one is going to accept insults from you and discriminate against others

My mother wanted to get a $20 bill in coins but the lady, who said her father is the owner, told her that it was too much money and then she asked her how many machines she will use. This is impossible to know, because you cannot predict how many machines you will use, or how much money you will end up spending in 2 hours.I never give 1 star to businesses, but I didn't enjoy to see this treatment from an owner's daughter. She is here to look after the business, and make the customers feel welcomed, so they can come back more and more.

I’ve been coming to this establishment for a while . Although I’ve noticed snarky comments from the older couple that owns the place I’ve brushed it off since they seem to be traditional Ecuadorians . After today I will not longer visit this laundromat. Their closing time is clearly 10pm and it posted on their website . The older man had the audacity to be snarky because I was simply washing my clothes and folding it . We ended up finishing by 9:40 . Once my boyfriend left, the older man decided to make a comment to me about the hours with a nasty attitude . It’s is clear that they do not know what hospitality is. In all honesty from the rest of reviews it’s obvious that the owners are the issue in this establishment and if I were the rest of this family I’d look into having a meeting with them on how to treat people .Answer to rude owner:Honestly it sucks that you think that this behavior is okay . I’ve never been treated this way in any other laundromat or Newark business. If your sign says 10pm then that is the time you close ! I obviously wouldn’t have minded if I was approached with respect and consideration . Which obviously I was not . Instead of arguing with your clients why don’t you look into teaching your staff something called HOSPITALITY. Also, whether I leave the store or not it is not your problem but it is mine . I came back in a respectful time manner to put my clothes into the dryer and I did not leave once they were in a dryer . My boyfriend was answering an important email when the older man (owner) approached him and told him if he’s planning on folding or not . And even gestured him to hurry up . AGAIN, in a nasty attitude . None of this would have been brought up if he actually spoke to us like we were customers and not his kids or grandchildren . I’m extremely disappointed to see that you justify this sort of behavior towards the people that actually provide your business with a money flow . Don’t forget the people of this community help your business grow . Oh and your timing is off, since I did not “come back” at 9:40 . I was out of your laundromat by 9:40 . 20 minutes before your closing time period. Thank you have a blessed holiday .

I’ve been coming here for about 9-10 years. I never had too many issues until recently. I recently got engaged and my fiancé just began coming here with me the past two weeks. The father who owns this establishment is misogynistic, and yells at children for being children. Today I had the older woman which is the owners wife, come up to my fiancé and say “why are you sitting here? You need to leave”. He replied “ but, I’m washing clothes..?” She says “i don’t care, you need to leave”. Mind you, I’m latin/mixed and my fiancé is BLACK. I go up to the woman and ask why she told him to leave. She wouldn’t respond. We already knew what was happening therefore we decided to take our WET clothes after spending $40 to wash multiple loads & dry them elsewhere. As we left, she looked at my fiancé in disgust and told him “don’t ever come back here”. This family are not good people and clearly are still living with hatred in their hearts. You never really know who you’re doing business with. this is sad especially considering that we live in a cultured neighborhood full of Latin/Black Americans. I regret ever putting money into a place like this. RACISM is real and it is alive in ECUALAUNDRY. I’m disgusted by this family and will be sure to let everyone else know how hurtful your hospitality was.

I’ve been going to this laundromat for years. I’ve had a few issues with the machines and my clothes getting ruined but the worst part of it all is the owner. The owner does not care for good customer service. He has always been rude but today, he truly put the icing on the cake. I always have a timer for when the machine will be done washing/drying therefore I know to come back as soon as my machine is done. Today, I showed up a mere two minutes after it was done and see that the owner is removing my clothes from the machine I was using. When I approached him, he was incredibly rude. He argued that he needed to use my machine but most machines next to the one I was using were empty. This isn’t the first time he has done this but it is certainly the last.
