I legit would’ve gave this place no stars but unfortunately I have to give them a star. If your car gets towed here I can almost guarantee that it will either be stolen from or broken too based off my experience from my car being towed here twice. The worst case scenario is your car is damaged like mine was because all they are going to do is say it is not their fault and to make a complaint. Now I have to fix hundreds of dollars to my vehicle.

Reading the reviews will have you going crazy about what’s gonna happen next I had my car towed here a couple of days ago I feared the worst I almost didn’t make it to 22 Franklin st in time to get the release and I got to Dente like 10 after they was closed I begged and pleaded with the guy to let me get the car and as I was just about to stop he let me get the car price was $298 to get the car but I was just happy to get my damn car so 3 stars for the customer service being that I inconvenience them but that price can’t get you 5

This place is unbelievable. My sister was visiting New Jersey from Pennsylvania and her car got stolen. When she tried to go and pick up her vehicle this place wanted $400 to have it released. She’s a young single female in her 20s and could not afford $400 as she was not expecting this car to get stolen. She also has a car note on this vehicle which was due around the same time so there was no way she would be able to afford her car note, car insurance, the $400 to have it released as well as the hundreds of dollars to have it towed back to Pennsylvania as the car was out of commission. When I called this place for her they told me the only way to have them waive the towing fee is if she was carjacked and that she would need a police report stating that she was carjacked. What a total rip off. Judging from the reviews, they have more than likely stolen every part of the vehicle already anyway. This place needs to be investigated and closed down ASAP

We sent a driver to pickup a vehicle. They refused to release the vehicle and only accepted bank checks or cash. We had a credit card and were willing to sign. Additionally, prices went up by the day

They are good people. I know they get a lot of angry people who are pissed to have no car and sometimes it's not their fault, but they don't get credit for doing a service as the State of NJ operates when they tow a car. They can't help but work w the police and policies for example to get a police release for a towed car in an accident or situation that requires some legal reason to have the police intercede or release a vehicle. Dealing w Newark police (some staff are quite mean) is another story. When you call Newark police you have to first ask if your car is there (if your car was towed from Newark) and then you have to pick up a release report from Newark police station at 22 Franklin Street, Newark and talk to an officer who will decide to send you up to floor 3 to get your report. That's the release papers. But if you also need a police report you have to go outside to another part of the building and get the report there if the car was in an accident and you pay like 5 cents a page. But I had a really great experience w Dente Brothers and their kindness to help me really made me have hope in humanity. Thank you Anthony Sr. And Dente Brothers for helping me when I was down bc of a driver who killed my car at no fault of my own. You really all meant a lot to me. They also care for stray cats which is always near and dear my heart after rescuing so many strays in newark and irvington and East Orange NJ.

Disrespectful people who will tell you one thing over the phone, then act dumb in person. Heard one employee called a customer a "black money" while I was there. They should work on their people skills. Meanwhile, They don't know I'm a secret shopper and get paid to critique businesses. In the process they stole my plates and junked my car while i was in the hospital Police stated 1 plate was towed on my car. Im now pursuing legal advice. Horrible workers. The entire business full of crooks... with the UncleTom black guy servant doing the owners dirty ... on his "yes master mode"I said what I said. Don't know how they sleep at night.

Didn’t have my car towed by them, however HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EMPLOYEES! Their tow drivers drive very recklessly, running red lights, etc. That one mid-age female that answered the phone while I was trying to make a complaint about their employee driving reckless, causing me to press on my brakes extremely hard with my child in the back! Refused to give a name, and kept hanging up on me while calling me a “bitch” because I asked for manager/owner’s information!! Newark is trifling to use this distasteful company!

Horrible place, there is no customer service they treat you really bad even tho they making money off you. I know these companies don’t care about anything, you pay or you go complain at court! Still that shouldn’t give them the right to treat people like that !My dads car was stolen, they towed it and changed it up in the system and put a different reason. I call the police and I even got a voicemail from them saying they have retrieve the stolen vehicle but the towing company keeps avoiding it.They broke one of the window and stole the stuff that was inside of the car, they said they won’t do that. So if they didn’t and the car was towed by the police supposedly then who did it ? They lie and say whatever they want because since they work with the police they feel like they can do whatever they want. They even made me paid after I said I wanted to donate the car since the price was too much for us to take the vehicle out. Unfortunately not everyone has the time to go to courts and fight these people, so we just take the loss. Still paying 250$ for something they made up and giving them the car for free, I don’t think is fair that they can just break in and steal anything they want!Pls be aware of this really sketchy towing company, if your car was towed, expect your car to have its windows broken and all your goods stolen. It’s sad that a company as shady as this one is still making a lot of money even tho everyone complains about them. Police don’t care, City don’t care, I’m reporting them everywhere possible and hopefully this review will help people!Service: Car towing

Not the first time, they have done it to my friends and now the did it to my uncle. We reported the car as stolen, police retrieved it, this company towed it and when we went there to take ti, they broke in the pick up and stole my uncles property!Please be careful when dealing with this shady company, they do anything to make money off you.

My car was towed Sunday May 21st because Newark’s finest failed to take my car out of the system as stolen. I went to pick up my car and these people broke my passenger window, ransacked my car, and stole items. They tried to lie about it but the tow report said all of my windows were there! I don’t understand how they are still in business and how Newark is contracting them. These people are thieves, they use their police connections scam and deceive! They repaired my window but refuse to pay me for the stolen items and had the audacity to charge me 182.00! Steer clear and start reporting them. Consumer affairs , BBB, NJ councilman REPORT THEM

These guys is full of shhh.. I gets into an accident the police officer gives them my keys before I entered the ambulance they towed my vehicle lost my car key and stole all my valuable stuff out my car and don’t know what happen and gonna tell me take it up with the city of Newark file a complaint
