499 Frelinghuysen Ave, Newark“This is my secret go-to place for made-to-order deli sandwiches in Newark. The place is located right around the corner from the Prudential Center. Krauszer's has a few locations across Newark, but this particular one is my favorite. Why? Because it's never busy and the workers are all very courteous. The main guy with the mustache (forgive me, I forget his name) greatly appreciates every customer, so I will always go out of my way to support businesses like these. I usually get their honey turkey spinach wraps--always fresh and very affordable! They don't have in-store seating, so it will be takeout at this location. **TIP: The made-to-order items come with a free bottle of water or a can of soda.”
“I've been a client of this Pharmacy since 2010, very professional and sharp on time with my medications. They are very polite and always willing to help with any situation. I would love to give them 10 stars.”

451 Bloomfield Ave, Newark“This is my favorite CVS to go to. It’s never crowded, the staff is always helpful and friendly. I love their nail polish section, and their skin care section. Not to mention their candy aisle!”
“The store urself could be a bit cleaner, but they work hard keeping the store stocked! Like any Bodega, it's over priced, but you pay for the convenience of a bodega! But the best thing about this place is Anna! She runs that kitchen like it's easy! Even when there is a line going down the aisle and she's the only one cooking! And she does it with a smile EVERY DAY! I think this place would fail without her! I TRULY hope they pay her well! The rest of the staff is always kind and smiling as well! Recommend...?”

61 Ferry St, Newark“This Walgreens is a good local resource in the neighborhood. I think they've done a good job with enforcing social distancing inside the store. Inventory is stocked. Also, the people working the store are friendly (For example, today, I stopped inside and this guy stocking the shelves said hello and asked how I was doing and if I needed help finding anything). The pharmacy here is always great; they genuinely care about the customers and run the operation well back there. I've never had an issue picking up anything from the pharmacy at this location.”
“Great staff! Pharmacy staff is great especially Isel Gonzalez, one of the pharmacist! She is extremely professional, kind and pays attention to details! She knows exactly how to help you getting your medicine and she always make sure they have them in stock! This Walgreens cares about their patients! Isel is outstanding! Thank you for all that you do!”

214 Market St, Newark“From fried chicken, to paper towels, fruit servings, over the counter needs and even coffee, this place has always helped whenever I’ve had to stay in downtown Newark. The Bacon egg and cheese with turkey bacon and hot sauce on a roll is served like an NYC bodega staple. So thankful for this place. Pretty neat seeing Delta 8 products and cryptocurrency accepted as well!”

275 Chestnut St, Newark“I used to love coming to CVS because I genuinely find it fun to shop for toiletries. However, later in life I discovered that CVS prices are super steep compared to Target and Walmart. They use a high/low pricing model so you should really only shop here if the specific items you want are on sale or if you are using coupons. We are all familiar with the running jokes about how ridiculously long CVS receipts are but seriously, don't sleep on the coupons! Yes, it's annoying to keep track of them and to have to use them for very specific brands or categories of items, but a deal is a deal! I have no shame checking out, getting a receipt with coupons, and turning right back around to buy the items with the coupons I just earned. I came to this particular location because, you guessed it, my boyfriend had Extra Care Bucks coupons. It's a pretty large store so I believe they have a good selection of products, however, I spent most of my time in the snack and food aisles so I can't say for certain. They have a decent sized parking lot so you won't have an issue finding a spot. I noted a sign outside that said they offer flu and COVID-19 vaccines.Initially some of our coupons didn't work because we used the wrong CVS card number. The cashier was a bit uncertain at first but he eventually sorted everything out. He ended up having to re-scan all of our items which I'm sure he found annoying but he was still pretty patient and friendly. Can't expect much more from your neighborhood convenience store.”

273 Elizabeth Ave, Newark“Usually I don't have any problems here. The gas prices are always less than other places. You do have to get out of your car to go pay at the window no matter how you're paying. Attendants are usually friendly, and every once in a while you have to fend off someone trying to wash your windows for money or cigarettes. Depending on what time you go, the gas station can be pretty busy and sometimes you have to sit in your car before a pump is available. But overall my experience is usually a good one there.”
“Very few gas stations in New Jersey always have 93 octane, my car has a knock sensor that is very sensitive I have noticed BP gas station and most exons do not lie about their octane levels, because I can assure you when someone says 93 octane and it's really 92 or 91 my car is knock sensor instantly gets triggered and goes into a lower tune.”
