Been at this gym for over a year and I love it here. Way more spacious than the Journal Square location. It's also just a really positive environment here overall and always clean (even when other members leave equipment all over the place .. I still see staff walking around periodically clearing the mess.). The staff is very friendly and if you're looking for a trainer, Emily is amazing!

Cool gym, kept pretty clean and wasn’t too crowded at 7am. Not a lot of equipment in there and for some strange reason they had the heat blasting but overall I had a good workout and I would go back here if I lived local mainly due to the low crowds. Also there is no parking so Ubering or walking is your best option to get there.The old bank vault in the basement was definitely a cool touch.

I have a love-hate relationship with the Newark location. I have been a customer for 3 years. I do like the gym, especially since it has multiple locations where I can go and do my workout without any issues. However, last year I had to stop going to that location due to an incident that happened to me. You need to train your staff on how to deal with situations. I was working out early in the morning in one of the stretching rooms when a guy came close to me while I was doing my workout and started making some comments and poses that made me feel uncomfortable as a woman to be alone with that man. The guy was pretending to be doing a workout; however, he was wearing regular jeans, a shirt, and sunglasses, and he was dirty. He looked like he was there up to no good. He was in the room for about 10 minutes, bothering me until I got tired. I went to the front desk to inform them that it was a guy up to no good on the second floor, bothering people, so to pay attention. The guy from the front desk when up to the guy and told him that I went to complain about his behavior, so the guy when up to me pretending he was apologizing, and at the end, he threaded me that from where he comes from, people pay for the accusations I made. I got so mad at how the staff when to tell the guy who made the accusation. You need to train our staff about security and handling situations that present danger to people. Newark, NJ can be a dangerous place. I stopped going to that location for a year and started going to Linden because I felt in danger in Newark just because your staff did not know how to handle the situation.

This place is seriously falling apart. Like they've been missing parts for equipment for months now and they do nothing about it. It's dirty. The floor near the locker rooms is uneven to an extent that they could actually be sued for it being a hazard, extremely noncompliant. I'm not sure what the workers do except goof off in the staff room and eat.

Overall, the gym is maintained, and the equipment works. However, the employees at this location are stealing company time. I wad there today 8/1/23 and i walked in scanned my phone and no one was at the counter. Did my workout and none of the dispensers had any sanitizing wipes to clean the machines after using it; and i mean none of the dispensers were stocked i walked the entire second floor and all were empty. So imagine everyone is working out and not able to clean the machine for the next person. I decided to only do cardio because covid is still around, and this is unacceptable. I really wanted to call Blink Corporate and report this. When i was leaving, there was still no attendent at the counter. Anyone off the street could have run in and stole all the merchandise . It's very strange . My advice always bring a lock to protect your items because anyone off the street can walk into this facility and steal your stuff. Also, this is not the first time an attendent was not present. Normally, they are sitting in the office. I guess if Blink allows employees to steal company time, then who am I to complain.

First let me start with, I’m a valuable customer at blink for a little over 3 years. Even bought my brother a membership because I really like you guys. Today, I met the most unprofessional, rude, unhelpful individual called Ariana at the front desk. Not once in 3 years any of my guests had to download the application to check in, in any of the locations Ive been to, she didn’t want to take my guest phone number to let her in. Mind you, my guest has been attending this location with my brother for months. & previously with me, just happens she forgot her tag. I have never, not once was held back for 10 minutes to get in. I asked her, Is it possible if she does this after and you check her in with her phone number? & she said they don’t do that. Since when!! I’ve started in this location & then moved to Nutley but in both locations every time I have went in the past, I’ve never had an issue until today. & I would definitely not recommend this location. Rude & unhelpful to make you wait to get a workout, being a consistent customer. The trainer next to her was trying to help me & she keep over talking him. So rude. The worse experience here. I hope you guys hire better staff. For the sake of the gym. The location is already bad. Why not at least have a group of employees who make it worth the gym.

This gym never turns on the AC, the front desk is normally rude, and it takes a long time for any machine to be fixed. Also the gym is very small, so going on any weekend, at night, and sometimes mid day is extremely packed.

Nice place but only if you like cardio. They lack workout machines. One leg extension machine and that is for your quads and hamstrings. The gym is full of bikes and treadmills.

The staff is always friendly but the gym is not always clean..which I think is a combo of the patrons and the staff not cleaning often. It could use more machines but it does the job. The weekend hours are awful…closing at 4pm?

Literally pay $140 for 1 time when this place is always crowded and dirty at night they charge you and trick you to pay for a cancellation fee.Worse gym ever and the front desk are rude awful experience.Read the terms and cancellation police’s y try to cancel the 2th month and they try to charge $90+ so they talk me next month cancel and there is no fee well surprise to cancel today they charge me $25….

Been going to this gym for a little over a year, and I've recommended it to all my friends and neighbors. Reasonable hours, clean bathrooms, cool staff, all the equipment you need for weightlifting or cardio. Everyday I'm greeted by the front desk team and whenever there is an issue or need, the staff are always quick to respond. Staff can always be found dusting or vacuuming the area. The trainers always seem to be focused on their clients, a very pleasant gym atmosphere. It's cool to see the same staff you may greet at the door one day, training right next to you one random morning or night. Keep up the great work. I've even started learning some of the staff's names. Shoutout to Gabe, Alin, and the rest of the blink team.

I've been a member ever since they opened, great location & staff, I really like this gym, however, they have changed the closing hours for Fridays, from 10PM to 9PM & Sat & Sun from 7PM to 4PM, while all other gyms in Newark, opens until 10PM or later on Fridays & 8PM on the weekends & like other some members, sadly, I'll be finding a new gym.

I've been coming to this gym for a month and so far I love it! The gym is clean and the staff is very friendly. I love the cardio equipment as well as the free weights and the training area they have available upstairs. It gets pretty packed in there but if you come at the right time (which I've noticed is around 11am-2pm on weekdays), you're golden
