This branch is terrible. The only way you can open an account at this bank is you have to be there by 9am. If not you have to have an appointment. When you try to set the appointment there is none available for weeks! So I guess they have enough money already new money go elsewhere. We drove to rt 22 in Union same day after leaving and sitting in traffic account opened same day. Maybe Newark branch needs to hire or be retrained but that was a very horrible experience. Would never go there for nothing other than the ATM!!!

ATM access is easy, but the lines for window tellers would be shorter if they kept all of them open.

This location are unprofessional I came here yesterday they told me I dnt have appointments and I should go and come back the following day at 9 I came back here at10 The following day cos I do not have appointments they wanted me to go and come other day I told them I will wait they left me sitting while there was no one who has an appointment the lady was just walking around waiting for people with appointments while am here pregnant and in pain but she pretended like I dnt exist they waiting for 2:00to tell me they can’t talk me hmmm what a service it’s sooo sad how they treat their customers u can do better plz

Just left BOA and the lack of customer service is ridiculous. It’s around 9:30 am, I was standing in line for about 20 minutes. And the Hispanic male bank teller at the first window, not only was unprofessional but just lacks customer service skills as a whole. He had no one in his line and just stared. Instead of saying can I help who is next. I literally had to signal to see if I could approach the window. All he did was give me a head nod yes! Then once I get to the window and explained why I was there, he was not finished with the previous transaction for another customer ignored me for a minute as I’m standing at the window and said did you have an account with us in a very negative tone as if I were annoying him that I was even at the window. He continued to count a substantial amount of money in front of me and continued to ignore me. So as I’m standing there at the window in awkward silence. He says nothing when he’s done and I had to just put my money in the slot. He proceeded to take my money and in expect it as if it were fake and I felt that was beyond disrespectful. After the transaction happened he didn’t bother to say have a good day or anything. This teller probably does this with every customer. Impressions are a lot and he really showed his true self. It’s very sad because you never know what a customer is going through or if they are having a bad day so for an employee who also deals with money and accounts to be unprofessional puts a bad taste in your mouth. I’ve been a loyal banker with BOA for over 6 years. If I decide to continue banking with BOA I will not return to this branch. And that’s a big if!

I went with my wife to update my SSN, they can't update as we didn't carry the original, we had only soft copy.They were rude in their language and their body language, not offered to use the toilet.How to escalate??

Easily the worst BofA branch I’ve ever been to. One teller on duty during busy hours and one of the managers just walks around lallygagging instead of helping out her team. Doesn’t make any sense to spend the majority of my 1 hour lunch break on line to make a deposit into a business account.Do better and hire more staff and get that manager to work.

Wow! I have story. This branch has employee who befriended my mother’s husband. She has discussing her account with him previously with out my mom. We went and I got my named added to mom’s account. On Saturday we went to the Springfeild branch and was greeted at the door advising that the teller’s were down but we can go to the atm. My mom didn’t have a card so I had to Zelle funds to my account which I an issue and called for assistance. No problems at all. Check later on that same night no problem getting into the account. I woke up Sunday and t all my account contact information was deleted. I have waited until Monday. When I called the Customers Service they put in a complaint to corporate about this situation. I was advise I have to wait on Monday. I complained to another branch about the employees and the manager at that branch called and spoke with the young but took her side. Crazy how someone you don’t know have power over customers accounts. Be careful!
