I called Richard’s store looking for an antique store. He called me back on a Sunday letting me know he wasn’t open, but would happily open for my husband and I to come see his shop that day. What a wonderful happy accident! Richard’s shop was not an antique store, but rather a shop filled with the most beautiful furniture. Bill and I have been looking for nightstands for our bed for a while and when I showed Richard the picture he found the most magnificent nightstands for us, better than I could have even have imagined. I highly recommend Richard and his shop. He has a wonderful eye and will help you elevate your home with his insight and expertise.

Richard has been a great help to me over the years as I complete renovation projects and need various designer support. His English furniture and design options are beautiful. His ability to custom make just about anything and / or find a special piece that fits just perfectly in our home is so helpful! Richard is a true professional who loves his work and clients!

Richard helped me design and fabricate the MOST beautiful dining room table completely custom to our needs: perfect size, color, finish--everything! I'm certain it will be a piece that gets passed down generation to generation. He has also been immensely helpful in guiding me through the drapery process (we had recently moved into the neighborhood and had a house full of curtainless windows to address). He is a delight to work with and his shop is full of gorgeous pieces, as well!

My husband and I used to laugh that it was easier to buy a house than pick out a dining room table, until we met Richard Bevan. He made the whole experience easy and comfortable from start to finish.
